5. You Lie* 4. Whoever's in New England 3. The Fear of Being Alone 2. The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia 1. Is There Life Out There
*"You Lie" should be top 3, but I can see enough people finding it boring enough to leave at this point.

What I always loved about "Consider Me Gone" is that it really does feel like it fits in with her big 90's hits. Sure from the production you can tell it's newer but something about it just felt like Reba at her peak!
As for top 5, with Fancy gone I'm not sure what will happen lol but here we go
01. Is There Life Out There 02. Whoever's In New England 03. The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia 04. The Fear Of Being Alone 05. You Lie

The "Keep On Loving You" has quite a few good tracks aside from the singles "Maggie Creek Road" being the best but it's not one of my favorites from her as it never felt like a fully realized artistic statement. Basically it felt rushed and I don't think a lot of these songs fit together well.

"Maggie Creek Road" would have had a very good chance of winning an album tracks rankdown if we were doing the album tracks that way. Nearly everybody submitted that one! How criminal it is that that song was never released, especially considering that "Strange" and "I Keep On Lovin' You" were both pretty lackluster singles that didn't build much buzz for her :'( "Consider Me Gone" was a perfect song for her to put out, but "Maggie Creek Road" is the next most surefire hit on the album. The lyrics and overall mood are just hauntingly dark. And that music video would have been in line with some of her best :'( This album is just SO loaded with hits! I'd definitely like to do a rankdown of this one too... Lol all these album write-ups are making me want to start a Reba album series in the near future

Alright, here we go! The bottom half of the top 10 managed to pass by without a single #1 loss... Now that we are at the top 5, EVERY song has #1 votes!!! Most of them have multiple. But only one of them will be victorious over them all. Top 5 coming up, now!

But before you leave again there's just one thing you oughta know. When the icy winds blow through you remember that its me Who feels the cold most of all.
5. "Whoever's In New England"
Album: Whoever's In New England Year: 1986Total: 227Average: 15.13Std Dev: 16.87.indulgecountry - 1BackwoodsBarbie - 1@adam1995 - 3tim - 4Kanenrá:ke - 5someguy - 8castleoblivion26 - 8dub - 10toomuchboy - 10bboat11 - 17Cody Wants Out... - 20BlueShades874 - 24George Strait Junkie - 24Sean - 24sbp17 - 68zaclord 🌈 The first people to lose their #1 are .indulgecountry and BackwoodsBarbie , this time at the hands of Reba's signature '80s hit, "Whoever's In New England". Although she had hit #1 before with songs like "Can't Even Get The Blues", THIS was the song that really put her on the map and launched her into superstardom. It's one of Reba's most iconic hits, and without a doubt deserved a place in the top 5 among the best of the best. An argument could have even been made for it to win, but sadly, it was not meant to be.
sbp17 is, once again, the lowest ranker, this time being the only person who didn't put it in his top 25 That probably singlehandedly prevented this song from being in the top 3.

I have left 2, 4, 8, 13, & 26
My 26 I'm shocked made Top 10, as much as I love the song I would never put it in the Top 10 songs of her career in any way so hopefully that is #5

I am personally offended that "Fancy" wasn't top 5. And surprised that TNTLWOIG stayed longer than "Fancy". I love Georgia, but "Fancy" is the far superior story song. You guys did it wrong just like radio did it wrong.
Also, on the note about "Fancy" suffering the same fate as "Independence Day". I had heard that ID was originally intended for Reba, and I would kill for a Reba version...kill for it.

Don't say that word, Not the one we both heard too much. You may think you do, but you don't. It's just the fear of being alone.

"The Fear Of Being Alone" is one of the biggest nostalgia songs from my childhood, so it has always made me warm and fuzzy inside. I always think of this as being one of Reba's biggest hits from the '90s, but that might just be the nostalgia kicking in This was actually the #1 contender for a large portion of the submission process! I was SO disappointed to see it slip about halfway through :( But I was also surprised to see it at #1 to begin with, because I knew that a few people were a little more ambivalent towards it than some of her other big hits. {Songs Remaining} Is There Life Out There The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia You Lie

The entire What If It's You album might as well have been #1 hits, with the impact it left on my childhood... But "She's Callin' It Love" has got to be the biggest missed hit opportunity. That has always been one of my favorites from the album. That super catchy melody is straight fire!

Up next, the song that was SUPPOSED to be #1.... After "The Fear Of Being Alone" stumbled from the top, this next song swooped in and seemed ready to claim a hefty victory. I mean, it was like 100 points ahead of the #2 song at one point! So I have no idea how this one managed to plummet to #3 right at the end... Oh yeah, everybody has this next one in their top 30, except for one person, who only put it at #31! So again I ask, how in the world did this manage to stumble back to #3 at the end??! I'm very unhappy about it. Lol

Ugh, I was SO excited for this song to finish at #1 :'( The fact that it had such a decided lead over the others had me quite thrilled, but it somehow managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Oh well, #3 is still nothing to sneeze at! Everybody seems to love this song, and it should be obvious to figure out why. Reba's vocal here is absolutely uplifting! This is the song I always point people to when I want to show them why everybody is in love with Reba as a vocalist. Her range is absolutely massive! She can go lower than any other woman in the industry, and yet here she is out-belting many of the genre's most famous belters! SUCH an iconic song, and I love it so much

I wish I had ranked this higher just so it could have been #1. Such an incredible song and easily a favorite. Was sad to not have this in my Top 10.

There is no competition for this song! She is vocally on point. By far her best performance ever. She was robbed of the Grammy she was nominated for with this song!
Also, it makes me sad to know this was a super strong #1 contender, only to come up just short.

That's the night that the lights went out in Georgia. That's the night that they hung an innocent man. Well, don't trust your soul to no backwoods Southern lawyer, 'Cause the judge in the town's got bloodstains on his hands.2. "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia"

This song about murder has become a classic Southern Gothic staple, and one of Reba's most iconic songs. Similarly to "Fancy", everybody knows this song, despite the fact that it did not become a huge hit chart-wise. However, it put up a hell of a fight in this rankdown! It found its way into everybody's top 20, except for two people. In the end, that was just not quite good enough to secure a victory for this song.
She thought she'd done some living, But now she's just wonderin' What she's living for.1. "Is There Life Out There"
Album: For My Broken HeartYear: 1992 Total: 191 Average: 12.73 Std Dev: 12.10 tim - 1 BlueShades874 - 1 dub - 2 Kanenrá:ke - 2 someguy - 2 Sean - 3 castleoblivion26 - 4 Cody Wants Out... - 9 George Strait Junkie - 15 @adam1995 - 19 toomuchboy - 19 .indulgecountry - 22 bboat11 - 25 BackwoodsBarbie - 28 sbp17 - 39 zaclord 🌈That means the winner of the Reba McEntire rankdown is the magnificent "Is There Life Out There"! This song was a massive #1 hit, and has gone on to become one of her most iconic songs. The music video is an absolute roller coaster of emotions, and the song's melody is just so iconic and sing-along-able, that it's no wonder this is one of her most loved hits. It was always on pace to do well in this rankdown, but ultimately the amount of top 5 placements ended up giving it the edge. This song saw half of the participants put it in their top 5!
