didn't really post my thoughts on the Top 3 yet so here it is:
"On A Wing and A Prayer" is a great song and I love the song a lot (I love most of this album). I ranked it low because I prefer some of the others but I guess it really depends on the day. I do think it would have been great had it been a single since Jo Dee was one of the songwriters on it.
I will probably always prefer "You're Not In Kansas Anymore" to "Heads Carolina, Tails California" personally but I love both songs and was not one bit surprised to see the huge support these two songs received.

I've been meaning to listen to I'm Alright for quite some time, but I always get sidetracked by something else.

"Because You Love Me", although it definitely doesn't deserve it  What single is going to make it the furthest? "I'm Alright" has so far proven to be one of the most unstoppable songs in the country rankdown world! After beating Jo Dee's entire hits catalog for her artist rankdown, and then the entire 100-song year of 1998, I would be absolutely shocked if it managed to lose a 10-song album rd (which is literally 50% composed of hits that it already beat in her artist rd) What non-single will make it the highest? "Even God Must Get The Blues". I expect this will finish in the top 5. It might be difficult for this song to do too much better than that because singles normally do so well, and this album has many of her most popular singles... But I think this will manage to beat at least 2 of the singles, which would be pretty significant for an album rankdown full of her biggest hits! What songs will make up the Top 5? I'm Alright, Bye Bye, Stand Beside Me, Even God Must Get The Blues, and Lesson In Leavin'. Any other comments? I know that I predicted "I'm Alright" would be the winner, but I would LOVE to see this be the time when "Bye Bye" finally takes its turn  It also seems to be one of the most unstoppable songs in the country rankdown world...the only problem being that "I'm Alright" is apparently the only song that can stop it, and they are always in the same rankdowns! It's cool enough that "Bye Bye" managed to finish at #2 behind "I'm Alright" in the Jo Dee artist RD, but the fact that it managed to ALSO beat every other song in the 1998 RD to place at #2 behind "I'm Alright" pretty much proves that it also deserves to be a rankdown winner at some point. I don't think an album rankdown will be its moment unfortunately, unless anybody purposefully tanks "I'm Alright" because it's already won twice, which imo would make a "Bye Bye" victory feel cheap... I predict that we're looking at our 3rd straight rankdown with "I'm Alright" at #1 and "Bye Bye" at #2, which I am okay with because "I'm Alright" is an amazing song too, and it would definitely be some kind of record to have the exact same top 2 for a 3rd rankdown :-)

I've always liked "Cover Me" but it never grabbed me like the other 9 songs have so it is the easy #10 for me.

I had a feeling that would be the worst performing single, but I thought it'd just miss the top 5, not go out at #9! It's definitely better than some of the album tracks still in.
I thought "Cry Pretty" was hinting at "No Time For Tears."

"Because You Love Me" is gorgeous and an amazing song, but it's unfortunately an A song on an album that has a lot of A+ songs. "Cover Me" is the only correct choice for last place though so I'm glad to see that went out first, because it's the one song I merely *only* like rather than love.
