I feel like it’s going to be a ballad in the vein of “Take My Breath Away” from the first film. Yes power ballads are prime bait for the Oscar. |

The Hold My Hand music video is directed by the director of Top Gun: Maverick, Jospeh Kosinski. The cinematography by Jeff Croneweth. Looking forward to the video. Should be epic.

I like it! Gaga is singing at the top of her range but she sounds great.
Definitely wouldn't mind having the 80s/90s power ballad sound make a comeback!

One listen. I didn't feel it.
Things may change later on. Who knows. Perhaps not crazy about the production. Perhaps it's just the song itself. Or perhaps hi expectations of waiting for something that was going to grab me emotionally right away like other ballads of hers have in the past.

Through headphones and in the car, "Hold My Hand" is just "okay" but I'm absolutely certain it will sound EPIC in an IMAX or Dolby Cinema theater auditorium. I'm gonna be sittin' through ALL dem end credits of "Top Gun: Maverick".

Great iTunes performance so far and some decent AM positions. Really looking forward to seeing the Spotify numbers. At least on Twitter, most of the Little Monsters seem to be using Spotify.
