The tie for Best Actress means this one might be really close :kii: until the end. The SAG Awards will hopefully tell us more. If Glenn takes that I think she's going all the way to the Oscar, but if Gaga takes it then it's anyone's guess, although SAG is a great predictor of the Acting awards so... we'll see.
"Shallow" is probably a lock at this point. Shame 'cause I love "All the Stars", but there's always the Black Panther sequel to give Kendrick another chance.

Was there an official second single released from the soundtrack? Shallow is basically done and I know that Always Remebwr Us this Way was sort of a promo single in the U.S. but was it ever made an official release?

She has made bad decisions before, in particular with her music and her insistence of doing something 'odd' for the sake of it being odd. It's one of the quirks I like about her but it does paint her to be a little stubborn at times. I guess I'm more surprised no one on her team told her that R. Kelly was a bad idea, even if she knew it would be and was feeling self-destructive, or reckless, or whatever, it takes a lot of talking and planning to create a collaboration between two big names. I agree that Gaga owns some of the responsibility here. While I'd say her response is genuine, I'd say her collaborating with him probably the one thing she's done that never sat right with me considering the allegations against him. But I think she's doing her part to own up to them. It's probably the type of thing where she's been regretting it for a while but there was no need to randomly release a statement or apology for it so why bring it up? Until she was called to. I don't think the timing of the statement works against her at all.Exactly. Because the only people that read into the whole situation with anything more than that are...us Little Monsters. The general public will simply take that Gaga is joining the rest of the world in rebuking R. Kelly. |

ARUTW has reached 100M streams on Spotify, and the video has 46M views. I don't think a single status would elevate it much further, although AC might give it spins.

I like that she peppered the Jazz setlist with just a few of her biggest smashes, instead of reworking something off the wall like "Sexxx Dreams" or "G.U.Y." for the piano. The "G.U.Y." bridge would probably still scalp everyone in attendance tho, who am I kidding?

I am not sure she has a huge chance at winning Best Actress. So far, Glenn Close has been the big winner in this category for most of the Awards season. She has been nominated for 28 acting awards for her role and won 4x.
She won:
Critic Choice Movie Award (Shared with Glenn Close)

National Board of Review
Washington DC Area Film Critics
Indicators are that this is Glenn Close's award to lose.
