Sent! FOUR people ended up doubling up in the top 10 for me (though a duet played a part in that). One of those four has another song in the top 20, and there's still another one who has three songs in the top 20, but none in the top 10, so spreading the love didn't exactly work lol.
I like almost the entirety of my top 90 though, and there were definitely songs that kinda ended up lost in the shuffle placement-wise. This manages to be stronger than the already extremely strong group from '92.

Okay guys! I'm slowly but surely working on graphics and other intricate things for this rankdown. I was gonna post some prediction questions and a preview of these results yesterday, but the internet went out about lunchtime yesterday (Independence Day out of all days) and all of the techs had the day off so it won't really come back until later on today. (Yes, I'm posting this while I'm at work; there's plenty of downtime atm  ). I plan to get through the bottom ten sometime this weekend (more than likely Saturday) and possibly the bottom twenty if I find enough time to do so. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, we have a brand new last place that quickly tumbled into the bottom five after only a tiny handful of lists. We'll also be eliminating multiple artists with multiple songs in the bottom twenty, with one of them losing theirs in the bottom five! Also, multiple top-half ranks on our end will be leaving, including a few of my own. Amongst those high ranks are a handful of top twenties, including a top 10! There are a grand total of SEVEN TIES, but they are more spread out than they have been throughout submissions. We'll encounter one of these some time in the bottom twenty. As in any other year-end rankdown (relatively speaking), there'll be plenty of unpleasant surprises for everyone involved, including me, but I think it'll be more amplified this time. Let's get some discussion built up in here shall we? 1) What will be #1? Other #1 contenders? Top 10? Top 20?
2) What will be #110? Other last-place contenders? Bottom 10? Bottom 20?
3) Which act with multiple songs (two or more) will last the longest? The shortest? When will they lost their first song? Their last song?
4) Over a dozen artists have only one song present in this rankdown (Clay Walker, Patty Loveless, Tracy Byrd, Carlene Carter, Randy Travis, Doug Supernaw, Radney Foster, Steve Wariner, Trisha Yearwood, Larry Stewart, Ricky Van Shelton, Billy Dean, and Martina McBride). Who's will last the longest? Shortest?
5) What songs do you see being highly-polarizing (high SDs)? The opposite (low SDs)?

1) What will be #1? Other #1 contenders? Top 10? Top 20? I have literally no idea how any of this is going to go, but I think the female's of country will rightfully have quite a few in the top 10 and 20 with songs like "Does He Love You," "Blame It On Your Heart," "My Baby Loves Me," "Passionate Kisses," "Drive South," "Tell Me Why," and "Walkway Joe" all doing well; as for the male's I think "I Cross My Heart" will be a top 10 contender and others like "That Summer," "Can't Break It To My Heart," "What's It To You," "When My Ship Comes In" and "Life's a Dance" performing well (Lee Roy Parnell surprised me in the '92 rankdown so maybe "Tender Moment" or "On the Road" perform well here too)...I'd also like to see Dwight Yoakam's "A Thousand Miles From Nowhere" or "Ain't That Lonely Yet" get close to the top 20. I could see two more duets making the top 20 including "The Heart Won't Lie" and "A Bad Goodbye." Group/Duo's making a run for the top 20 will be Alabama's two songs "I'm In A Hurry (And Don't Know Why)" and "Hometown Honeymoon" along with Brooks & Dunn's "Lost and Found."
2) What will be #110? Other last-place contenders? Bottom 10? Bottom 20? I don't think Aaron Tippin's songs are going to perform well in the rankdown so he could lose both of his songs in the bottom 20 along with Confederate Railroad's two songs; Diamond Rio might lose one if not two songs in the bottom 20 as well. Other artists losing songs in the bottom will probably be Larry Stewart ("Alright Already"), Hal Ketchum ("Sure Love"), Ricky Van Shelton ("Wild Man"), Travis Tritt ("Looking Out for Number One"), Doug Stone ("Made For Lovin' You"), Billy Ray Cyrus ("She's Not Cryin' Anymore"), Restless Heart ("Mending Fences" and "We Got the Love") and of course a Garth Brooks song (maybe "Somewhere Other Than the Night").

Tanya Tucker has consistently been a polarizing artist so I'd include "Two Sparrows in a Hurriance" in the list; Garth Brooks has a couple songs that will likely perform quite well including "Ain't Going Down ('Til the Sun Comes Up)" but will probably be polarizing; I could see other classics like "I Cross My Heart," "Chattahooche," "Should've Been A Cowboy" and "The Way You Love Me" as being somewhat polarizing. I'd also add a surprise like "My Blue Angel" being a bit polarizing. The opposite (low SDs)? Songs with the lowest SD will include previously mentioned songs like "Does He Love You," "My Baby Loves Me," "Blame It On Your Heart" as well as Alabama's "I'm In A Hurry."
6) What songs do you see being somebody's #1 (without naming names please)? No idea...maybe "My Baby Loves Me," "I'm In A Hurry (And Don't Know Why)," one of George Strait's songs and lots of surprises I'm sure!

I know y'all are excited about these results, but I have a little bit of bad news: on my homefront, we had to put one of our cats to sleep today due to her struggling with chronic renal failure the last few days and no improvement with all types of treatments possible. I'll still try to start the reveals this weekend, but it may take a little more time.
