I love the setlist. All of my favorite songs are being performed. However, do wish she included IDGAF. The videos look great too and I can’t wait to see Physical live. I’m excited to see her in Columbus with wavey. "IDGAF" is used in the show as an interlude, but plays on tape (right before "We're Good"). |

I saw the show in Charlotte and it was amazing. I was on my feet the whole time. And I have to say, I knew it was going to be a good time, but I was thoroughly impressed by her. I don't think I realized how strong her voice was, the dancing was amazing, and she just carried herself like a superstar.
My only compliant was that the Future Nostalgia title track is an opener, not a closer. Physical is a great opener, but I would've done Future Nostalgia into Physical for an intro. Otherwise, the set list was perfect.

Dua Lipa Leaves Management Firm TaP MusicThe split comes amid the singer's Future Nostalgia arena tour, which kicked off this month. BY DAN RYS Dua Lipa has left TaP Music, the management company that has been guiding her career for several years, Billboard has confirmed. The news, first reported by Hits, comes as the superstar is at the very beginning of her massive Future Nostalgia arena tour, which kicked off in Miami on Feb. 9 and is set to continue with a show tonight (Feb. 18) at TD Garden in Boston after two years of delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The cause of the management split was not immediately known; a request for comment from TaP was not returned as of press time. Sources say that Dua is actively interviewing new management companies to take over the handling of her career. TaP was founded by co-CEOs Ed Millett and Ben Mawson, the latter of whom has served as Dua Lipa’s manager. TaP’s management roster includes Lana Del Rey, Ellie Goulding, CL and Noah Cyrus, among others, and also includes a record label venture with the Universal Music Group and a publishing venture with UMPG. Dua Lipa’s career has catapulted into the stratosphere over the past several years, since her breakout single “New Rules” helped pave the way for her best new artist victory at the 2019 Grammys. The release of her 2020 album Future Nostalgia pushed her to even new heights; despite being released in the spring of 2020, her single “Levitating” was the No. 1 song in the United States in 2021, raking in the most streams (804.71 million on-demand audio and video streams) and the highest radio audience (2.94 billion audience impressions) for the year, according to MRC Data. There has been all sorts of speculation on the interwebs as to what the reason is for her parting ways with management that has been there since the beginning and especially now as she starts a tour.

Dula Peep has improved so much as a performer and entertainer compared to the DL1 era. The dancing, the vocals, it was all spectacular! I was only let down a bit by the setlist. {Spoiler}
The first act was pretty awesome, with "Physical" and the chant 'let's get physical!' being the perfect way to wake the crowd up (I got legit CHILLS). Act II was nice with a few album tracks and "We're Good". The energy ramped up again with a "Club Future Nostalgia" act but the show practically screeched to a halt with "Cold Heart". I loved how simple the performance was but I felt it could have better served as part of the encore, and bump the song "Future Nostalgia" earlier in the show, like after "Physical" or smthn. I will definitely be catching her live again whenever possible though! What a night! |

this is the closest thing to a live vocal performance we got from Selena Gomez since the 2019 AMA's disaster, I think. very iconic of her to know the lyrics to "Pretty Please".

^ Agreed! Such a great show last night. I don't think my body stopped dancing the entire time. The two year wait to see this album live was so worth it.
AND she brought Angèle out! That was awesome.

But, perhaps the "Levitating" songwriters did: I def hear the similarities but it’s also a very simple chord progression that I’ve heard before. There’s also a song from the late 70s/early 80s - maybe a Niles Rodgers song - that sounds the same but can’t remember which one. |

Saw her in DC last night, AMAZING concert. I was wowed. Also pleasantly surprised that “Be the One” and “Electricity” got the some of the biggest reactions of the night!

A friend of mine also attended DC concert last night and said the crowd was really loud and that they had so much fun. Proud of Dua, she came a long way since her debut performance-wise.

I remember when I saw Ms. Lipa early on in her debut era at a festival in NYC at like 3 PM. Only a handful of people there and I was able to be in the front. She has definitely come a long way. Not sure I will ever be able to see Dua Lipa the Superstar live.

Do you have to get a bracelet for the floor or just show your ticket? I may get a lower level ticket and just walk onto the floor if no bracelet is required. I have other friends on the floor that can just screenshot their ticket and send it to me. |
