Album release date is supposed to be in April I believe. Next single is probably Friday, but we’ll find out for sure tomorrow or Sunday since she’s announcing the album this weekend. The next single got moved back to a later date which is the 31st! It should come with the pre-order too! And the album release date is a choice... I expected it to be released a bit earlier, but it's fine. I’m not sure of that because of the fact that the album date is coming anywhere from today till Monday. Her team would be dumb as f*ck to wait almost 2 weeks to put the single out and put the preorder out. |

FYI, the release date of "Physical" was first rumoured/slated to be out on January 24, but it was pushed back a week as it was mentioned before. However, as you said, I find odd that Dua will make an announcement in the next few days to say that her next single will be released later this month, so I think there's a chance that it has been brought forward to this week again. Anyway, regarding the album release date, I also know the exact date, but I can't/am not going to disclose it yet, so I hope the announcement will be sooner than later before the date spreads out. That said, I'm just only going to say that it's a little earlier than I was expecting it to be. |

Am I the only one nervous to see the cover art? Her cover arts have never entirely been... amazing. However the visuals she posted when the title track came out were fantastic. I need that for the cover.

If Dua is holding back the album cover until there's a pre-order link, it basically confirms that "Physical" will be released as an instant grat. I doubt that the track will be out as a standalone release this week and it should be released next week (1/31) as it was previously mentioned.
As a side note, she said that she has other news coming this week on Instagram stories, so it makes me think this is tour related.

I know you guys are worried abt the cover art (we don't wanna be disappointed ofc) but I'm so nervous bc of whatever her team is doing atm. Releasing "Physical" as a standalone single with no pre-order on sight sounds like a bad idea to me. I don't wanna see another messy rollout/Romance situation :/

If "Physical" is coming out this Friday, it can be released as an instant grat with the pre-order of the album.  I mean, the picture above is her Instagram story and I think that Dua wanted to unveil the album cover during the weekend (or Monday at the very least), but she opted to not do that because she could reveal it with the pre-order link, hence the reason why she said that she held it back. Also, I've just realized that she didn't say that the album cover isn't coming this month as it was previously mentioned. |
