Lost my #2 and my #3 back to back. Are we going to have 3 Janet and 2 Madonna songs in the Top 10? A little too much (and I'm a big Janet and Madonna fan). The next 5 reveals will leave the Janet fans shook...

Is Janet about to get purged before the top 10? If so, #WHITEPEOPLE :sip2:

Surprised about Bon Jovi leaving before the top 15, but fine with everything else so far.
Edit: But not with WHYDFML being the first Janet track to go.

It would be the Janet song in my top 3 wouldn't it?! #WhitePeopleEDIT: Actually, looking at the tankers I need to change the hashtag #RockPosters :sip2:

At least the right Janet song is the highest.
Shocked that Venus (and Conga to a lesser extent) are still in at this point.

Should've straight up tanked Venus. In no way should it be in the top 10 while Janet has none. But YES @ Madonna doubling up in the top 10 with one of the greatest 1-2s ever!

Ok, I'm late because I got up like 20 minutes ago and just saw it now but #19
You Give Love A Bad Name Bon Jovi
That's right, I legitimately hate this song more than any other song on this list. The epitome of overproduced, corny, melodramatic 80s rock. I despise Bon Jovi with a burning passion, especially this song and "Livin' on a Prayer". The insane amount of overplay that they've received with those two songs in particular doesn't help in the slightest either. Anyways...2, 5, 7, 18, 19, 26, 39, 42, 60, 81. No idea why both of my bottom half ranks are still in over some of the other stuff that's gone out in this set, but I'm just glad my #100 didn't make it. (I assume I won't be saying the same in 1987, though.)

My top 4 is still in this along with another song from my top 10, I'd be fine with any of them winning. Have two more from my top 20 too.

I can't believe someone would think "Sledgehammer" was one of the ten worst songs here. I refuse to even consider that notion. Top 20 is about what I was expecting, but I was hoping it would sneak into the top ten. 2 | 3 | 4 | 10 13 | 16 | 19 | 22 34 | 47 This is...not the top ten I was expecting. I'm sure more people will focus on "Conga", but I'm pretty damn surprised Eddie Money made the top ten, especially over some of the songs that went out in the previous 20 reveals. Everything is in my top half, though (and all but two in my top 25), so I can't really complain.

I might have been a little too harsh with my ranking here, but I've never really liked this song. Doesn't help that it brings back unpleasant memories of school dances.

I'm not really surprised by TMHT being in the top 10, I've never seen a strong aversion to it and always expected it to be high due to a lack of really low placements.
If anything, LTT and WEG, both of which I have higher on my list, were less likely top 10s, but I also expected Nasty to make it.

It's more along the lines of what it beat to get there. I would have thought "Your Love" would be in that song's place instead. The two songs that I was most surprised to see in the top ten are the first two out of the top ten. Okay then.

Bananarama peaked quality-wise with their second album for me (Cruel Summer is the obvious star, but the haunting Robert De Niro's Waiting is stunning), but their later stuff is alright too, but not top 10 worthy.

I don't think Human is much as a song, but the production is so incredibly strong and distinctive throughout that it makes up for it several times over. 80s extended mixes were perfect for tracks like this.
