Hot Action Cop sounds like a porno and Fever for the Flava sounds like one of the quotes on the back of the DVD box. How does this song exist.

100. Eat You Alive - Limp Bizkit You guys are not only squeemish, but harsh. :| The music was fine. I thought this one was ok. Put it at #69 as a joke. This is a type of love song you sing to a "bad girl".
99. Drowning - Crazy Town Now this is what I call Vile torure to me ears. All the songs with a similar vibe will be floating at the bottom of my tank before this rankdown is through.
98. Will You - P.O.D. Weird rank for one of their most melodic songs.
97. Mine - Taproot So now I know Pulse hates Taproot, but hey, I'm not complaining either. Good call. I didn't even realize "problematically possesive" was creepy, but I don't even care about that. I just thought the song was ugly.
96. St. Anger - Metallica Piss Poor Metallica. Banging on pot and pans. No thanks.
95. Bottom of a Bottle - Smile Empty Soul This is the worst of the three I've ranked so far. "I do it for the DRUUUUUUUGS" was the best part. Hopefully we are done with this band?
94. Running from Me - TRUSTcompany No tears shed here. It's kinda just there.
93. Straight Out of Line - Godsmack You know it's gonna do bad on an ALT rankdown, but this is still way better than, white boys talking over music.
92. Down - Socialburn I actually kind of dug this discount POM. Chorus was great.
91. Enemy - Sevendust You all know I was gonna tank this travesty hard. Music was alright, but those vocals. Especially in the verses. GOD help us all.
90. Did My Time - Korn This was gonna get Korn-holed good here...and I couldn't care less.
90. Sleeping Awake - P.O.D. I only liked about ,50 ,or songs ,on the whole list. I don't really ,need to ,ever hear this song again.
89. Suffocate - Cold This would be one of the songs on here, I still considered really fucking cool. At least "Stupid Girl" is still kicking.
88. Weathered - Creed Makes no fucking sense what so ever. 8D I'm just wondering how many of you here need hearing aids?
87. Poem - Taproot This stupid song, here tricks you into thinking its gonna be awesome with that great sounding guitar intro, then it goes straight to shit.
86. Stupid Girl - Cold This song is cool. You all screwed it for no reason.

EXTRAS:Get Loose - The D4Never heard it, but thumbs up for garage rock. Fever for the Flava - Hot Action CopExcuse me while I go throw up. We've Had Enough - Alkaline TrioThis band is cool. Very good song. "Calling All Skeletons" is my favorite song from them. Free - Powerman 5000never heard it, but sounds great for pumping iron. Won't Back Down - FuelSurprisingly, I didn't dig this Fuel song. Make Up Your Mind - Theory of a DeadmanOnce upon a time; the band; formerly known as, Theory of A Deadman ,used to be great. Hot bride with lesbian tendencies. I'll take two. Lost Cause - BeckSounds like a lost cause to me. I'm not a fan of ALternative ballads. I guess I'll sit back and wait for "Sexx Laws"

100. Eat You Alive - I remember hearing this the first time on the radio and saying "hey, that wasn't so bad". Not sure what I was thinking then... this is awful. Maybe I just wasn’t paying much attention to the lyrics.
99. Drowning - Another one that I thought was decent at the time, and think a lot less of now. Not as awful as "Eat You Alive" (or their own "Butterfly") but still pretty bad.
97. Will You - This was kind of annoying, but not bottom 5 bad. Hope this isn't a bad omen for "Sleeping Awake" which I actually thought was pretty good.
96. Mine - Really? I thought this one was pretty decent, even if the screaming was gratuitous. Y'all better not be tanking "Poem".
95. St. Anger - Thank goodness this is in the bottom 10, I was worried it would have defenders propping it up. I'm far from a diehard Metallica fan, but I still couldn't believe they'd put out such a trainwreck.
94. Bottom Of A Bottle - This was even worse than I remembered it being. Bye.
93. Running From Me - Not one of the most grating songs on here, but just really bland and generic nu-metal.
92. Down - Another bad post-grunge song. Not much to see here.
91. Enemy - This was really bad. I remember liking some of their singles before this, though I'm not sure how well they'd hold up for me today.
90. Sleeping Awake - Again, I actually thought this song was pretty solid. At least it escaped the bottom 10 (although the rejiggering made it only barely escape).
89. Did My Time - Guess dm2081 is right, I do need to change my underwear, because I SHlT MY PAAAAAAANNNNNTTTTTSSSS. But seriously, while this isn't the worst I've heard from them, Korn were sounding like a parody of themselves by this point.
88. Weathered - Just bland and cheesy as usual for Creed.
87. Poem - Was really hoping this one would fare better. Might have underranked it a little. It's an enjoyable heavier Incubus-style song, with a good melody and solid lyrics, and even the gratuitous screaming couldn't ruin it.
86. Stupid Girl - Stupid song. I guess Rivers Cuomo wasn’t content to merely write awful novelty songs for his own band. Then again Cold didn’t need his help, as evidenced by their other entry here. And yes, I'll gladly sniff some flowers.
EXTRAS: “We’ve Had Enough” is great, and probably got shafted on the charts because of its anti-radio sentiment. “Lost Cause” is really good too. Don’t really remember what “Won’t Back Down” sounded like, but I want to say I didn’t like it, and I don’t remember the others at all.
Pretty annoyed that “Straight Out of Line” and “Suffocate” narrowly escaped the bottom 15, but I’m cool with “Liberate” getting a bit of a boost.

Pretty annoyed that “Straight Out of Line” and “Suffocate” narrowly escaped the bottom 15, but I’m cool with “Liberate” getting a bit of a boost. "Straight Out of Line" did stay put at #93 if I'm understanding the re-rankings correctly - only songs in the #92-86 range got shuffled around.

88. Weathered - Creed Makes no f**king sense what so ever. I'm just wondering how many of you here need hearing aids? BTW, this POS, Generic, dragging borefest would’ve been my 100. I mean, I don’t think some of Creeds singles are terrible, but man, this took the cake.

It's showtime! (Sorry about the lack of stats, we'll take care of that after this update.)
#85 brings with us a band that we won’t see after this year. Of the five people who ranked it top half, there’s only one top 20, and it’s by a person who has not been having the best start to this rankdown. Two other top 25s will also be lost. Still, this song received nine bottom 10s, four of which are bottom 5s.
This song is our first to have never dipped into the bottom 10 ever at any point during the submissions process, and it even broke out of the bottom 25, if only for one list. It looked like it might escape the bottom 20 towards the end, but it got denied towards the end.

#83 has something to do with multiple artist alright. Five more top 50s, and this time, the highest ranker is yet another top 20. None of the three top 40 rankers are strangers to losing big. Five people ranked it bottom 10, including two bottom 5s – one on the higher end, one on the lower end.
This song spent nearly the first 20 lists in the bottom 10, but it rose up only to then get shoved back down. Then, it jumped 12 spots in a matter of two lists to escape the bottom 20, before ending up here.

Alright, now, we only have reveals that have not been posted to Pulse. Yay.
At #81, we see a song that six people ranked in the top half. However, unlike past reveals, the top half rankings aren’t all that high. Only one of them is a top 40. What’s fun of this reveal is at the bottom. Until the last list, every single person who ranked it bottom 10 ranked it bottom 5 - and there are at least six bottom 10s.
This song kept trying to break out of the bottom 20 like it did towards the beginning, and eventually it did – only to get shoved back down at the last list.

Buttrock from the smelliest, lumpiest, most gangrenous butt. This song sounds like a tarpit.

#80 started off decently, reaching a peak that no other song we’ve seen yet has, but it gradually fell and even spent two lists in the bottom 10. It rose and bounced in and out of the top 80, eventually landing just within.
Of the four top 50 rankers, one of them is a top 20, and it’s by the person who has lost the most top half rankings so far. On the contrary, someone will lose their first top half ranking as well (spoiler: it's me). Of the six bottom 10s, two of them are bottom 5s, including one which is very low.

I mean, I knew it was going out early. It was destiny. The good news is that it did something no Mudvayne song has done: It escaped the bottom twenty in an Alt rankdown!80

#79 is the first reveal for a band with multiple songs in this rankdown. We recently ranked this band in the 2004 Active rankdown. Five people managed to rank this song in the top half, but two of them are top 20 rankings. Of the six people who ranked this song in the bottom 10, only one of them ranked it bottom 5. It’s not just any bottom 5, though, it’s a #100.
This song started out in the regions around the bottom 10 before gradually escaping the bottom 20 by the skin of its teeth. It remained at #79 for the last four lists.
