"Dumas Walker" is a major jam! I am so glad I discovered it in this rankdown  Also, I know a lot of rankdowns have been accused of being messes lately, but this one is literally the biggest mess of all. I can't even. The Dixie Chicks out already??!?!? Sawyer Brown almost beating the Dixie Chicks??!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?! |

I thought "Man Goin' Down" was great, but still a far cry from being one of their best for me, so it fell just inside my Top 20. But lbr, the fact that SHeDAISY beat the Dixie Chicks in this rankdown and almost made it to the overall Top 20 should be seen as a victory imo, lol.  |

I knew Man Goin Down would be polarizing, I was hoping for a Top 20 finish but oh well. I’m glad you chose this, I’m sure a few people had never heard it before and now their lives are better for it.

A boatload of top 20s kept this song climbing and even made this a top 20 contender on multiple occasions. Unfortunately some bottom half rankers (excluding me ofc) pushed this back a handful of spots along the way. I think these guys are an acquired taste, but I figured I'd include them here anyways since y'all seem to be pretty big fans of these guys. As for me, I want to like them, but the odd production choices in their songs tend to be turn-off points for me. This isn't to say that they're not talented, though. Pawn Shop was a pretty neat album, looking back now... |

I am both thrilled and appalled when I look at that top 20 list... There are several pleasant surprises to me, but also some major shocks. For example, "Bluest Eyes In Texas" was also one of my favorite discoveries here, but I was totally expecting it to leave in like the bottom 10 because it just kinda feels like a song that people might find boring! So I am very pleased to see it still chugging away But then, how did Eli Young Band make it in?!?!?!? Only a couple people on Pulse even like that band, and yet here they are outlasting SHeDAISY, The Dixie Chicks, Maddie & Tae, Brothers Osborne, and so many other Pulse Favorites... I can't even begin to comprehend how that happened. "Skeletons" is a decent song, but there is absolutely nothing about it that would have made me suspect it would outperform Eli Young Band's usual standards... At this point I am 100% expecting the top 2 to be Sugarland versus The Wreckers. I'd like to think Brooks & Dunn also has a shot at the top 3, but I'm not at all confident in the collective tastes of the participants in this rankdown. All I can say with certainty is that this is going to continue to be a shit show. Hell, "Skeletons" might even go on to win this thing, the way things are going so far... |

"Downside of Growing Up" is one of the worst songs from Maddie & Tae's album, I just cannot get into it. This is the 3rd rankdown it has been in and it has not grown on me at all. "Once You've Loved Somebody" is boring, and just there. Don't get the love for that one. The thing with SHeDAISY is while I liked the song "Man Goin' Down" I didn't like it enough to place it higher than I did. Brothers Osborne should have been in the Top 20. Considering neither Sugarland or The Wreckers are in my Top 10 I do hope neither wins. Though I wouldn't be upset seeing "Want To" be at #1 as that song is amazing. "Leave the Pieces" is overrated. I like the song, and I do think I overranked it, but it shouldn't win. I'm scared to see what misses the Top 10! |

I don't mind "Highway 20 Ride" but it is not a song I go out of my way to listen to. Honestly there is only one song I ever really liked from them and that was "Whatever It Is". I never got into anything else they did, even when it was a song I thought was alright, like this one. It overstayed imo

I can't stand ZBB! I adore the violin solo in "No Hurry" but that. is. it. "Heavy Is the Head" is pretty good for an Active rock song I guess, but meh. They'll never win with me.
