The MJ colab isn't even top 5 on apple music... all his solo songs are top 5... so it won't be the one hitting #1 The Apple Music chart is just the album in order besides the pre release singles which are lower because they also have their single versions charting high (below the rest of the album though) as well. We need to wait a few days to see which tracks are popular and which aren't. Survival is only #1 because it's the first track. |

I really like I’m Upset for some reason. Hated it first listen but i like it now. I've been playing I'm Upset a lot since it was released as a single, I really like it. |

I understand there’s Scorpion hype, but unless there’s a radio deal going on for one of the new songs, it’s offtopic to the 7/7 thread. The "new music" is something "new" actually - LOL The Scorpion music is not off topic since weekend streaming as well as radio counts for the 7/7 chart - I believe Weekend streaming does not count; all streaming tracking weeks begin on Friday for the next chart. |

And yes!! Delicate is killing it on radio.
Why is streaming so bad though?? I mean Camilla hit Top 10 with "Never Be the Same", "Delicate" should be able to do it too with a sales discount or something

I didn't know it was never a single either, wow. It has indeed been covered and sampled a lot, even Craig David used it for his "Rise and Fall", which featured Sting as well. And Sugababes covered it, I never forgot that video. All big European and not U.S. hits though. |

I personally knew the sample from the Craig David song. On my phone it even says "ft. Sting". I think most people will know it's a sample, except maybe some teenagers.

The upside for the MJ song, even if it gets buried a bit on release week, is that it is a really solid pop song. And Michael's voice would sound perfect on the radio thanks to his influence on The Weeknd. I can see radio going for it. H100 top ten would be cool. Yeah, it's lowkey a kii for me to hear MJ + autotune literally sound like the weeknd. I'll tolerate it for now because MJ deserves the chance but I wish they'd use MJ's voice for real. Apparently Drake is doing 10m listens per hour, people are already predicting 1 billion streams by the end of the week. Drake could pass Adele's first week debut. Good deal. I was surprised to see it not do as well on itunes but forgot he's streaming king. Summer games is vibes. |
