well at least he didn't take the Beatles' 5/5 record He wouldn't anyway 6 in the top 5 would have to include double-singles in one title which doesn't happen anymore

Drake ties Rihanna for the third-most Hot 100 top 10s, while he and Jackson become only the fourth and fifth acts to reach the milestone of at least 30 top 10s. Here is an updated look at the acts with the most Hot 100 top 10s, dating to the chart's Aug. 4, 1958, inception: 38, Madonna 34, The Beatles 31, Drake 31, Rihanna 30, Michael Jackson 28, Mariah Carey 28, Stevie Wonder 27, Janet Jackson 27, Elton John Along with his 30 solo Hot 100 top 10s, The Jackson 5/Jacksons scored 11 top 10s with Jackson as a member.. This is how stans should break down group vs solo. Instead of merging and trying to pass it off as one. So glad stated this correctly.

Man, really was hoping Nonstop. 5 #1s is still achieveable, but way less likely now. Maybe next time Drake.
Never thought I would ever see Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey in the top 10 together in 2018. This will be second top 10 for MJ this decade right?

I was kind of hoping he’d get 4/5 top 5 so I could see Beatles and classic rock fans get defensive. That's one record that's sacred to us old school Hot 100 chart watchers ... I knew I Like It would prevent Drake from tying it. and they say Cardi has no value...

If Drake has 27 songs on the charts, that means one of his features fell off of the chart. Walk it Talk it, Yes Indeed, and Look Alive were the highest ones on last weeks chart but I’m guessing Look Alive went recurrent

And with a different starting point - Elvis would be on this list too

I wonder if Drake and Republic Records will still attempt to tie the MJ and KP record with “Nonstop” debuting at number two.

I'm not one to be salty about these things. Like, whatever happens just happens. Once I'm satisfied that the chart is (mostly) accurately reflecting the popularity of the songs then I'm usually okay with whatever the chart result is even if I don't like the songs/artists doing well.
BUT I AM FUMING AT ALL THE FREAKING RECORDS DRAKE IS BREAKING THIS WEEK
It's not that I don't like Drake (he's my 3rd most scrobbled artist and I'm sure in my top 5 artists in terms of number of songs I own) but come on man, we're talking about broken records held by The Beatles and Michael Jackson and the possibility of breaking records from Bruce Springsteen, Janet Jackson and others. The quality of one-tone Drake's music just cannot compete with the artists who previously held/current hold the records Drake is breaking/threatening. Like most of his songs are just a monotone and emotionless vocal performance over a generic percussion-led beat. Very little creativity in most of his material, no spectacular vocal performance, no innovative production, nothing. Just blandness. (We're just gonna go ahead and ignore the hypocrisy of me saying all this while Drake is my 3rd most listened artist).

Emotionless, In My Feelings, Summer Games, Can’t Take A Joke, That’s How You Feel, Don’t Matter To Me, Nice For What and God’s Plan are arguably the best songs off of Scorpion imo and all deserved Top 40, which they achieved.

When was the last time we had two posthumous acts in the Top 10 before? MJ and X just got it with #9 and #10.

And if they're going to talk about combining group and solo, you'd have to add each of the Beatles, and take a look at Diana Ross/Supremes...
I think your "all-in" winner for most top tens would be:
Paul McCartney (57 total) 34 Beatles + 15 Wings + 8 Solo/Features

I mean why not the MJ song will hit #1 so that's 4 after In my feelings. now it's a matter of picking two more songs that could hit #1. Shouldn't be tough if planned right My vote is Emotionless or Summer games

It's quite sad that listening an album counts for both charts (and thus a song that no one else but people listening the album has even heard can reach Hot 100) but it is what it is, it's not Drake's fault.
It's kinda same than with Glee few years ago.. All songs they released were basically Hot 100 "hits"
