Emotionless, In My Feelings, Summer Games, Canβt Take A Joke, Thatβs How You Feel, Donβt Matter To Me, Nice For What and Godβs Plan are arguably the best songs off of Scorpion imo and all deserved Top 40, which they achieved. You forgot Nonstop, I'm Upset, and Talk Up :sip2: I'm Upset is trash.

I'm gonna make a bold prediction: In My Feelings will be the third and last Scorpion #1. The other tracks will not be able to sustain these numbers while radio catches up.

90%of the youtube comments are βdrake is sooo overratedβ, βhe needs to get tf outβ, βiβm so tired of drakeβ. 9% of the youtube comments are "cardi's still in the top 5 with both songs", "yeeeesssss cardi ", "without drake girls like you would be number 2" 1% of the YouTube comments are "BTS ARMY" ,βstream FAKE LOVEEEβ

That's not really brave, I think likely. Only huge meme videos can give him the fourth as all songs except IMF have peaked on daily streaming already.

The 2010's belong to Drake, no doubt. Dude killed the decade and this year. I canβt wait for the 2020s.

He probably will only get three.
Next week Drake will not have 7 in the top 10, many of these will fall back
Generating 4 or more #1 hits from an album in the streaming era will be tough to do as all the singles are already out there

I'm not one to be salty about these things. Like, whatever happens just happens. Once I'm satisfied that the chart is (mostly) accurately reflecting the popularity of the songs then I'm usually okay with whatever the chart result is even if I don't like the songs/artists doing well. BUT I AM FUMING AT ALL THE FREAKING RECORDS DRAKE IS BREAKING THIS WEEKIt's not that I don't like Drake (he's my 3rd most scrobbled artist and I'm sure in my top 5 artists in terms of number of songs I own) but come on man, we're talking about broken records held by The Beatles and Michael Jackson and the possibility of breaking records from Bruce Springsteen, Janet Jackson and others. The quality of one-tone Drake's music just cannot compete with the artists who previously held/current hold the records Drake is breaking/threatening. Like most of his songs are just a monotone and emotionless vocal performance over a generic percussion-led beat. Very little creativity in most of his material, no spectacular vocal performance, no innovative production, nothing. Just blandness. (We're just gonna go ahead and ignore the hypocrisy of me saying all this while Drake is my 3rd most listened artist). -Insert 20 more lines of rant here- -Throws a massive tantrum- -Leaves thread and slams the door on my way out-The Benevolent Aubrey empathizes and cries shiny tears for/with you. These tears will also be re-purposed into a future top 10.

Of course itβs possible he gets more number ones from it but streaming of it will be at its peak this week. Itβll decrease over the next few weeks but still remain strong until the release-week hype dies down. Any subsequent hits will need to rely more on traditional or additional promotion. Videos, appearances, even something viral. Itβs certainly possible but more and more these days, album eras are halfway done by the time the album is released.

Records only hold meaning in proper context. We see this all the time with sports. At the end of the day, who the fuck cares?
There are elements that make Drakeβs feat more impressive than the ones he broke. There are elements at play that make those who previously held those records more impressive. Itβs whatever. And almost entirely meaningless.
Go outside.

Using the formula from this thread (http://pulsemusic.proboards.com/thread/144785/2010s-charts-all-time-unofficial), the top 10 alone brings Drake to a total of 8,116,758 points this decade. That's only 56,732 more points to become the #1 artist of the decade, which he most certainly achieved this week.

I think had Nonstop went #1, with In My Feelings going #1 soon as well, the label would have pushed another song hard to get the fifth #1. Now with an additional song needed to tie that record, they might not try for it now.

I doubt we will ever see anyone ever break Katy Perryβs record. Drake is clearly the artist of the decade and he canβt even do it with over half the US on his side.

As an evidence top 24 "most losing streams compared to last week" on Spotify are Drake songs Nonstop losing almost 2/3 of its streams week-on-week. The ONLY gainer is In My Feelings.

To get 6 #1's from an album you will need to no longer make all singles available from day 1 as they are now with the streaming platform. You would have to go back to the old-school way of making consumers pay money for the album, or pay an album fee to stream. and release singles to streaming one at a time.

What are the songs that have return to #1 three times? I'm bored and waiting to go out so I went back to 1958. Can't Feel My Face, Grenade, Whatever You Like (T.I), Live Your Life (T.I. feat. Rihanna), Bleeding Love (Leona Lewis) and Le Freak (Chic)

I was kind of hoping heβd get 4/5 top 5 so I could see Beatles and classic rock fans get defensive. Has anyone besides the Beatles gotten 4 of the top 5?

Weren't a lot of people initially calling out Katy because it was technically a re-promoted re-issue that restarted interest? Also, she played to the strengths of adding additional vocalists and doing remixes on her songs. I'm not saying this personally, but I just remember a lot of controversy here from people claiming her record should have an * next to it. LOL
Either way, Drake can still get 6 #1's... we will see what happens. He could also do a remix or reissue as well to help further. Who knows.
What I do know is that this was an incredible week for the charts and for Drake, congrats!

And be relevant enough to be able to do that and get away with it while having people care. Itβs doable though. Drake, or any big name act, can release an album the traditional way (cd and maybe digital) but limit streaming to only the singles as they come out and go back to focusing on one song every 3 months.

all of you talking about drake while im here thinking how tf Lucid Dreams dropped from 3 to 16 (not complaining tho) Billboard increased sales/decreased streams in their formula. Also, LD is #1 on SoundCloud so it may be the song with the most ad-supported streams on the Hot 100.
