It peaked at #14 on R&R in May of 2003. It was released through DreamWorks Nashville. It would be her final top 20 single at Country radio. She charted three more times between 2003 and 2008.
There's also a ballad version of this song included on Now. The single was co-written by her now husband singer-songwriter-video director, Marcel. The two were married in 2011.
Jessica Andrews was extremely hit or miss for me. She's had some good singles like this one but some not so good singles, like "Karma".

No #1's lost at #21 but five people lose a top 10.

This was the BEST discovery maybe ever from a rankdown. What a jam and a half "There's More to Me Than You" is. Wish it could have gotten farther!

Jessica did so much better than I could have hoped for! Iβll always love that song, what a jam! I loved her as well but her albums were always better than what was sent to radio.
However you canβt deny that amazing voice!

I am surprised to see Montgomery Gentry and that horrid Blake song still in.

Ew @ Kenny still being in. Hopefully he goes quick.
The rest of the top 20 is at least passable at the worst, but 75% of the songs still in are genuinely great imo.

It just happened to be that "Forever and for Always" is my favorite Shania Twain song, so she just missed out.

Damn, this rankdown has been moving! Just as I expected, most of the past 30 or so reveals have been pretty painful... SUPER pumped with this top 20, although definitely would have kicked out Emerson Drive for one of the George Strait songs. The fact that none of his songs made the top 20 is just plain wrong.
Speaking of George, I am not at all surprised to see "Tulsa" die out in the middle of the pack, as it is definitely one of his less memorable hits. It's pretty snoozy, and as beautiful as it is, I hardly expected it to get any further than George's name could take it. I am not really shocked to see "Cowboys Like Us" die just outside the top 20, as that is in fact about as well as I had allowed myself to hope it would get. I know it is not super well loved either. But I 100% expected "She'll Leave You With A Smile" to be the highest George song here, and maybe make at least a run at the top 10! I am shocked that it is out before "Cowboys"!!! In his artist rankdown, "Cowboys" finished at #38, while "Smile" finished at #28. (And "Tulsa" finished at #86... Lmao)

Oh yes, I forgot to elaborate on how pumped I am by this top 20!!! Both Martina songs, AND both Terri songs?!?!! I'm especially pleased by "Three Mississippi", as that is in my opinion one of Terri's most underrated songs, and was a super undeserving flop on the charts. If I'm allowed to still predict that one to be the highest-placing non-top-20-hit, that would be my vote I am thrilled to see both Martina songs make the top 20. I know they both have their tankers, with "This One's For The Girls" being overplayed and cheesy to some, and "Concrete Angel" being an emotional song with flawless female vocals... It's inevitable I would love to see at least one of them make the top 10... I could see "Concrete Angel" doing it, as that one defied the odds to place at #3 in her artist rankdown, which totally surprised me. I bet it'll finish at #7, since that is Martina's favorite place to finish in year-end rankdowns! I could see "Girls" coming up just short of the top 10 though. My only hope in this rankdown is that Craig Morgan doesn't make the top 10... "Almost Home" is so overplayed I can barely handle listening to it to this day... Awesome song, but I do NOT want to run the risk of having it anywhere near the top of this rankdown...

I havenβt heard it on the radio here in probably a solid decade, and not consistently since 2003-2004. Perhaps other stations still play it? I mean, it did last +30 weeks charting but I never considered it overplayed and that was 15 years ago.

I mean, it did last +30 weeks charting but I never considered it overplayed and that was 15 years ago. Nah, I never hear it on the radio anymore either, thank God. But back then it was so overplayed that I still can barely listen to it despite having practically not heard it in 15 years It's one of those songs that is just too long and plodding to hear several times a day, especially for 30+ weeks. At least something like "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" is relatively short and relatively catchy; it kinda strikes your ear in a good way when you wait several years before listening to it. At least in my case! I am sure lots of people love "Almost Home" despite how much it wore on me.

#20. Blake Shelton - "The Baby"

It reached #1 in February. The song was written Michael White and the late Harley Allen.
I'm not a fan of Blake's material the past decade, it's been boring or terrible for a long time...but his first three albums had some great songs and "The Baby" is my favorite. It's a stone cold country song and written by a great writer, Harley Allen, who passed away in 2011.
I am the baby of our family, my half-brother and sister are 14 years and 9 years older than me. "I guess she was tired by the time I came along" is sooooo true lol. The song really hits home for me. Plus the ending...one of the saddest endings I've ever heard in a song in my life. I was taken back the first time I heard it, that the writers would actually do that lol. Is it a bit cheesy with the baby theme? Sure, but it doesn't mean it isn't true. My mom still calls me the baby of the family. This song speaks of real life and these songs are sorely missing on country radio nowadays.

"This One's For The Girls" was the lead single off Martina McBride's album, Martina in June of 2003. It peaked at #3 in October.
I know I'm in the minority but wow, this is a special kind of bubblegum cheesy. It doesn't help I cannot relate to it at all. Not every song has to be relatable, obviously, but this one is so far from my perspective, it's difficult to appreciate it the way I'm sure many others do. Martina has sung some of my favorites in the 90's and 2000's but 2002-2004 Martina wasn't my favorite for sure.

#18. Brad Paisley - "Celebrity"
Total Points: 767 Average: 38.3 Year Released: March, 2003 Radio & Records Peak: #3 Billboard Peak: #3 Rankings:sabre14 - 6 rgreen0625 - 7 g8erboi - 10 Cody Wants Out... - 17 austin - 23 kw9461 - 23 tim - 24 zaclord π - 27 bigfan101 - 35 collinkottke - 39 d3vin44 - 39 bboat11 - 43 CoJoFan - 45 gardyfan - 48 someguy - 50 toomuchboy - 54 castleoblivion26 - 60 KanenrΓ‘:ke - 62 LBTrocks - 76 .indulgecountry - 79 Following: carriefan15@crapkuki23 "Celebrity" was the lead single off Brad Paisley's Mud On The Tires album in March of 2003. It peaked at #3 in August. Brad wrote the song by himself.
If you're paying attention to the music video, the show Fear Factor was one early on they parodied, which had its first TV run from 2001-2006. The video features cameos from Jason Alexander, William Shatner (both of whom would go on to also star in "Online" in 2007) and Jim Belushi. It also features Brad's band and the late Little Jimmy Dickens in the Bachelorette parody.
This one may have gotten old for some but Brad is one of my all-time favorite artist and I absolutely loved his comedy songs in his prime like "Celebrity." It was different, creative and the lyrics/melody were terrific. His Mud On The Tires album remains one of my favorite all-time albums.

With this comment, I just noticed that I think literally all of us (to my knowledge) that participated in this rankdown are men Way to completely blow a hole in sabre14 's excuse for not liking this one, lmao. I do realize many of us are men, Nick. We all come from different backgrounds however. A song pumping up how proud they are to be a girl/women isn't something that speaks to me. I'm a guy in my late 20's, straight, likes stereotypical guy things like sports. This song was also out when I was 13-14 years of age. Back then I think I disliked it more, because of my immaturity. I now know why it meant a lot to others, guys included, but never spoke to me. The way the song is delivered, imo, is about as cheesy as one could write and deliver a song, regardless of what the song subject is. I know Martina generally does well in rankdowns and is well liked mostly but she's had some really bad songs if you ask me over her career.
