#48. Kid Rock with Sheryl Crow - "Picture"
Total Points: 1,092 Average: 54.6 Year Released: November, 2002 Radio & Records Peak: #18 Billboard Peak: #21 Rankings:collinkottke - 4 d3vin44 - 9 someguy - 10 austin - 13 g8erboi - 20 kw9461 - 20 .indulgecountry - 23 rgreen0625 - 29 CoJoFan - 34 Cody Wants Out... - 45 zaclord 🌈 - 51 bboat11 - 74 gardyfan - 78 bigfan101 - 81 Kanenrá:ke - 87 LBTrocks - 93 castleoblivion26 - 100 toomuchboy - 103 tim - 103 sabre14 - 115 Following: carriefan15@crapkuki23 "Picture" was the fourth release off Kid Rock's Cocky album on November of 2002. There were two versions, one with Sheryl Crow on the original album version and the other with country artist Allison Moorer. Kid Rock's label Atlantic couldn't get permission from Crow's label on a single release so they re-recorded a version with Moorer for pop, rock and country stations to play...but many stations decided to play the Crow version anyway. Billboard credited both artists while R&R actually had Moorer credited at first before the song caught on, then credited Crow when it took off since many stations spun that version. The single peaked at #18 on R&R in May of 2003. It spent 32 weeks charting on R&R's top 50, which was unheard of for a non-top 15 single in those days.
Can't stand this song. I appreciate Kid Rock going for this as a release since it was a change of pace for him but it haunted my childhood. It doesn't have any differentiation in its instrumentation really, other than the guitar solo and my god, the song goes on forever. The version radio played was just under 5:00 minutes. I was never a fan of Kid Rock's music either ("All Summer Long" was horrid).

The only Kid Rock song that I love. I like maybe two others. The rest of his discography can burn in fire.

Disgusted at "Chicks Dig It" and "She's My Kind of Rain" not making the top 50!!! They are both so good!
Also "Picture" is 100% the only decent song in Kid Rock's discography. I like it a lot but it almost made me sick thinking I would put a Kid Rock song in my top 50, so I left it at 51.

I was surprised we got to top 50 without another woman going (considering there were so few left), then turn to page 10 and three go in a row.
I can understand "When You Think of Me" going out so soon since Mark Wills doesn't appear to be popular on Pulse, but "I Believe" is beautiful.

I’ll probably do a good amount of reveals Wednesday and Friday. Maybe I can squeeze one or two out tonight or tomorrow but likely not.

#45. Alan Jackson (feat. Jimmy Buffett) - "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere"
Total Points: 1,064 Average: 53.2 Year Released: June, 2003 Radio & Records Peak: #1 Billboard Peak: #1 Rankings:g8erboi - 8 bboat11 - 15 tim - 18 someguy - 20 rgreen0625 - 25 zaclord 🌈 - 25 collinkottke - 40 kw9461 - 41 austin - 42 bigfan101 - 45 castleoblivion26 - 47 d3vin44 - 49 gardyfan - 53 Cody Wants Out... - 61 toomuchboy - 73 sabre14 - 79 Kanenrá:ke - 91 .indulgecountry - 107 LBTrocks - 112 CoJoFan - 113 Rankings: carriefan15 @crapkuki23 "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" was the lead single for Alan Jackson's Greatest Hits Volume II album in June of 2003. Recorded just a month before its release to radio, the song reached #1 in just eight weeks and spent 8 nonconsecutive weeks at #1 on both R&R and Billboard. It spent 7 weeks at #1, exited one week in favor of "What Was I Thinkin'" by Dierks Bentley, then returned to #1 for an eight and final week -- an unheard of accomplishment these days and was quite remarkable back then, too. To this day, it's one of the most played gold titles of the 2000's.
This song is hard to rank. I like the song but my goodness, I've heard it SO. MANY. TIMES!!! Seriously, there are stations that still spin this 1-2 times per day as we speak. If it wasn't for overplay, I would probably rank this in the top 40, but I turn the dial if it comes on the air now. It falls under the same category as ones like "Amazed" and "Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not". I don't adore the song to pieces to overlook the overplay factor here.

Whole-heartedly agree with the overplay factoring into my rankings for this as well as a few others.

The song is fine but again, nowhere near Tim's best. It was radio filler for me by the end of its chart run. I disagree. This is one of his best imo. Love it. Glad it made the top half but I wish it had gone further!

Glad it made the top half but I wish it had gone further! The lyrics do nothing for me. It's production is really good (like, really good) and it's not a bad song by any stretch but I saw it as more pedestrian than anything when it was out.
