IMF is looking to become a huge hit, perhaps even bigger than God's Plan, while Better Now is slowly creeping up. On the other hand, will Delicate & Taste have a better chance in making the top 10 this week? (sorry if this is too early)

I don't even think No Brainer will chart in the top 20. I think the DJ Khaled/Justin Bieber hype has faded. It’s possible but then again, everyone said that the DJ Khaled hype was over after Major Key and then Grateful came along so idk. |

Excluding "Views", I would argue that the "Scorpion" era is the biggest Rap/Hip-Hop era since 50 Cent's 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin' in 2003/2004 in terms of chart popularity and cultural omnipresence, especially worldwide. 'In Da Club; 21 Questions; P.I.M.P' and not to mention his features throughout the era 'Magic Stick, How We Do, Hate It Or Love It' all would have collosal today in the social media era. 50 Cent's own "The Massacre", Kanye West's "Late Registration", Jay-Z's "The Blueprint 3" etc. each had a big single or two but "Scorpion" outpaces them both.
Overall, I would still consider Puff Daddy's "No Way Out" to be the biggest Hip-Hop era especially as someone who lived through it.
2 number one singles - 'Can't Nobody Hold Me Down' & 'I'll Be Missing You' and 2 number two peaking singles - 'All About The Benjamins' & 'Been Around The World' all of which are modern Rap classics. Not to mention that he had another number one single as featured on B.I.G's 'Mo Money, Mo Problems' and two other number ones the very same year as a producer on B.I.G's 'Hypnotize' and Carey's 'Honey'.
He dominated 1997 like no other.
Yes, comparing eras of different consumption isn't completely feasible but there's still much to be said. |

They clearly care about boosting its position, so why not also discount it, and wouldn't that be easier for them and even more effective? It seems like they even care more about getting her songs to #1 on pop radio than them getting into the top 10 on the overall Hot 100, or another likely explanation is that iTunes hasn't approved of the discount. |

I'd compare Scorpion to Usher's Confessions.. I know Drake's a rapper but he is also smoother than Usher has ever been. And so far 3 number ones, just like Usher got from Confessions, which went on to have fourth with the re-release.

NTLTC didn't recover from the audience adjustment over the weekend and had to settle for a #3 peak in Radio Songs. Better Nice and In My Feelings should be able to enter the top 10 next week.

I agree, plus Usher's song performance at pop radio was stronger, which helped it feel bigger for many, I'm sure. But with consumption so different now with streaming in play, it's really tricky to compare the two eras. |
