I just realized that Drake only said "In My Feelings" twice. Once in intro, once in outro. Why the hell did he choose "In My Feelings" as the title and not something else, like "Down For You"? Well, "in my feelings" is a popular phrase and the song has Drake in his feelings wondering if people still love him. Why not have it for the title? It's obviously not hurting the song that it isn't part of the chorus.

I think DMTM will be a single in future, it's the most pop friendly song on Scorpion by far. But not now, probably next year if Drake don't end the Scorpion era too early. Drake had the Views era in 2016, his most successful at the time, and by October of that year, he'd dropped four new songs with one of them being Fake Love that went on to be a hit. He fully intended on dropping More Life in December that year, 7 months removed from when he dropped Views. 7 months earlier he'd dropped What a Time to be Alive with Future and 7 months before that, he'd dropped If You're Reading This It's Too Late. Of course, he ended up dropping More Life in March 2017, but still. He's a workaholic. I won't be surprised if he drops another project next year. I doubt he plans on waiting till next year to push any more songs off Scorpion. The start of a new year reads as the start of a new era for him.

I love the song Meant To Be but the fact it’s still #13 on radio is why radio isn’t as big of an influence on the charts as it used to be. Needs faster turnaround to compete with Spotify.

Radio obviously doesn’t jump on new songs the way streaming does, but songs hang around the streaming chart for a long time, too.

August 10, 196301 02 Fingertips (Part 2) - Little Stevie Wonder (1st of 3 weeks at #1)02 05 Wipe Out - The Surfaris 03 04 (You're The) Devil In Disguise - Elvis Presley 04 06 Blowin' In The Wind - Peter, Paul & Mary 05 01 So Much In Love - The Tymes 06 08 Judy's Turn To Cry - Lesley Gore 07 03 Surf City - Jan & Dean 08 11 Candy Girl - The Four Seasons 09 07 Easier Said Than Done - The Essex 10 19 More - Kai Winding & Orchestra A few months earlier, in April-May 1963, a young girl named Little Peggy March set a record for the youngest artist to have a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 at the tender age of 15. Her record lasted just over three months when an even younger artist broke it. Little Stevie Wonder was actually only 12 years old when the concert in which "Fingertips (Part 2)" was recorded took place, but he had turned 13 by the time it hit the top of the chart in August 1963. Nevertheless, it still made him the youngest artist in Hot 100 history to have a #1 hit; a record that he held for many, many years. Blind since shortly after birth, Wonder was already considered a musical genius even at that young age; and in the years to come, he would go on to show just how much of a musical genius he really was with his acclaimed and very popular singles and albums in the 60's, 70's and 80's. But we all have to start somewhere, and for Little Stevie Wonder it all began on a stage with a live recording of his own composition "Fingertips". The whole performance was too long for one side of a single so they split it up between the "A" and "B" sides with "A" being Part 1 and "B" being part 2 of the song. Part 2 turned out to be the more popular side and the rest, as they say, is history.

August 9, 200810 10 Leavin' - Jesse McCartney This did so rather weak on Hot 100 for such a huge song on radio. 5 weeks #1 on Pop Radio, and #2 on Pop Radio's Year-End that year. Yet a #10 Hot 100 peak. Almost the biggest song on Pop Radio of the year, and it barely made top 10 on Hot 100. It had underwhelming digital sales obvs. It felt like a #1 that Summer. One of my fave Pop hits ever.

MJ in the Jackson 5 doesn't count, and I believe Lorde was 16 when "Royals" hit #1. Am I missing anyone?

Would he count? Besides him, I have no idea.

Yes, that's true. Sad because I can really see DMTM becoming another hit of the Scorpion era, just see its performance on UK (#7 this week and being extremely overshadowed by In My Feelings)

It's still up in the air. I'm just speaking based on how I know Drake to act. He goes on tour from the 10th and doesn't come off till the end of November. Doubt he'll have the time to shoot a video for the song, but then again, you never know. We'll wait and see what happens.

MJ does have the record for youngest to sing lead on a # As part of the Jackson 5? I guess that makes sense. I think he’s referring to the song “Ben”. Which was his first number one single on the Hot 100 as a solo artist.

MJ does have the record for youngest to sing lead on a #1 Actually Donny Osmond and Stevie Wonder have him beat with Stevie Wonder holding the record. That is, unless you're talking about the Jackson 5 which if you are, then MJ does have the record.
