I mean I'm the two isn't that good of a song at least with I'm the one the hook was catchy but nothing about I'm the two is catchy at all . Haha. What's even more amusing is that he also had I'm On One that featured Drake, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross, and he followed that song shortly after with another song featuring the same 3 artists, so you can make that joke twice with DJ Khaled! Got a few weeks yet before a new #1 Yeah, most likely more than just a few more weeks. I can't believe that he has a post-album single that arguably going to do even better than God's Plan. On the discussion about artists being credited as a feature, I personally think you can't "deserve" to be a feature. You either are or you're not. There are many songs where a featured artist contributes very little. Rihanna had a song, Right Now ft. David Guetta, but apparently the song was mostly produced by Nicky Romero, who didn't get featured. Or Janelle Monae who has a massive #1 credited to her even though she has such a small part of the song which I didn't even notice until after a few listens. Or you have a case like Avicii - Wake Me Up where Aloe Blacc isn't credited officially. Or another case like Bebe Rexha who wasn't credited originally on Hey Mama but got credited part-way through its chart run. While I've just been talking about DJ Khaled, the same applies even for lead artists. Many would argue DJ Khaled doesn't contribute much to his songs (he doesn't even produce most of them I believe, certainly not his early ones), and doesn't "deserve" to be listed as the lead artist on them, but the truth is whether you're credited on a song just depends on what the artist decides, as well as a lot of record label politics I would imagine. I guess you could in theory credit someone on a song even if they don't have anything to do with it at all, I don't know if that's happened before. The oddest thing I find with features are where an artist gets credited twice. I've seen songs credited overseas as things like "Pussycat Dolls ft. Nicole Scherzinger" or "D12 ft. Eminem". Now, that is something I find strange, if they're part of the group AND featured on the song as a solo artist, they're basically being credited twice.

Where's the hype? It's only increasing in airplay by default as a new Post Malone single for radio, its streams have been WAYYYYYYY higher that they are now.
The only chance for it to reach #2 is with video as I Like It is doing the same/better numbers as of now in every department, otherwise it'll probably peak at #3 max (which is still good of course)

Well, it's been more than 3 months since it exploded on streaming, of course it slowed down. Anyhow, I wouldn't mind #2 peak for Better Now. But they need to release music video asap!

^ In My Feelings seems to have peaked on Rhythmic/Urban. Not surprising considering the fact that Nonstop is currently being pushed on both formats. Seems like it'll only have Pop to keep it rising up in audience impressions now. Fingers crossed. Loads of songs dropping hard and those rising aren't rising quick enough. Will be stuck with this top 5 for quite some time from the look of things.

The only chance for it to reach #2 is with video as I Like It is doing the same/better numbers as of now in every department, otherwise it'll probably peak at #3 max (which is still good of course) I keep saying, the next #1 won't be a song that's currently charting. It'll be a new song that absolutely smashes everything out the way and grabs the top spot for itself. So far, I don't see anyone big enough who could drop and have that effect. Better Now has already peaked on Rhythmic. It isn't doing all that great on HAC and it'll peak on Pop in the next couple of weeks. It's radio run is slowly, but surely coming to an end. To add to all that, it's streams have really reduced on both Spotify and Apple Music. A video/discount won't give it that huge a boost because Post Malone doesn't grab YouTube views like Maroon 5 or Ed Sheeran, especially US YouTube views and In My Feelings doesn't look like it'll be dying down on iTunes anytime soon. He'll be lucky to get a top 2 peak with Better Now.

Where is its streaming coming from? It's barely in the Spotify top 200.

He's a pop artist so he gets strong airplay (and especially with him being very strong on adult formats that only lengthens his dominance of radio), he does well on digital sales, and he seems to be the rare pop artist that also does fairly well on streaming. All of this leads to chart longevity magic.
