Anyone got any predictions for the boost the In My Feelings video will provide on the streaming end of things in the following weeks? I predict it does at least two extra weeks above 100 million streams in the US and slowly declines.

The In My Feelings Challenge is already old, I feel like people seen the thing on Twitter from the safety board warning about it. Plus, the song is so annoying and repetitive now I can’t see how anyone can possibly still actually like it without just fake liking it still. Sicko Mode sucks too, Drake sounds just like he did on Know Yourself, Nonstop and Look Alive. And I Like It and Girls Like You are also two way overplayed tracks which quickly made them old imo. Fefe is good, but I just don’t like that the pedophile has to be in it. No Brainer is a good pop song, with rapidly increasing airplay counts per daily, so I don’t see that song going anywhere either, plus it’s better than I’m The One.

Its last 7 days on Spotify total 16.8m, don't know the AM numbers but the Youtube numbers must be huge to reach 100m

IMF still has around 60M airplay left on Pop so any Urban/Rhytmic decreases might be offset by that (assuming it goes all the way to #1).

Am I the only one who wishes Castle On The Hill had the longevity of SOY and Perfect? I favored COTH over SOY when they both dropped. I favored Galway Girl over both tbh.

With Urban and Rhythmic radio jumping on "Nonstop" the airplay is going to stop increasing soon. Sure. It's also #1 at both formats, so it would start decreasing soon regardless. If your ultimate point is more about "IMF" falling from #1 on the Hot 100, the issue is more what will replace it? Even if "IMF" starts declining in all 3 metrics, there is nothing out right now making big enough gains to overtake it. Like we've seen with past huge #1s, it will take a big new song to do it ("See You Again" coming out of nowhere to dethrone "Uptown Funk," "Black Beatles" rocketing 9-1 to replace "Closer," Taylor Swift dropping a new single to take out "Despacito"). QUEEN is dropping tonight, aka Nick's first #1 is coming

Following that, I could gleefully say "Jason Mraz's Know is dropping tomorrow, his #1 single is coming!" and people couldn't call me out on it because, infinitesimal as it is, it's still a possibility.

But when talking about Nicki Minaj, we are talking about an artist who has 32m listeners monthly on Spotify. If there's a huge banger on the album, it has chances to do very well.

It's crazy to me how global "Shape Of You" was.
It was #1 or #2 (behind Despacito) on virtually every year end chart for 2017, and is still charting in 2018 for some countries.
The only global hits I can really think of are Happy, Despacito, I Gotta Feeling, Poker Face which basically hit #1 or #2 on almost every year end chart

I favored COTH over SOY when they both dropped. I favored Galway Girl over both tbh. Galway Girl is my least favorite single of Divide. In fact, my favorite single and album track is Happier, it's a shame that it release was completely overshadowed by Perfect...

No We don't know if Fefe will be a last minute addition yet. But even discarding that, Nicki's next hit will be one organically chosen by fans, like IMF was for Drake. Queen's biggest record is still yet to come.

I can't imagine the labels or the artists would allow to easy #1s to be split up like that and only giving out 1. I bet nicki is pushed again or surprises tonight like she was supposed to

Based on the tepid reception that all the Queen tracks have gotten so far I'm not so sure Nicki is going to have a hit on the album, but sure, it could still happen.

That one is a bit different, since, if it hadn't been for "Black Beatles", "Starboy" was about to dethrone "Closer", anyway.

I mean based on the reception the other Queen singles have gotten.... I'd be shocked by more than two top ten debuts. Id be shocked by a top 5 single this era, Nicki (in my opinion) isn't a draw BY HERSELF as in the lead. Clearly the GP likes the features and not the full thing. I'm sure if she drops an absolute banger song and video on release night then a number one could potentially be in the books but based on recent chart stats I'd be more than inclined to say no shot

I don't think that Nicki will land any top 10s this week. I think that she will be more sale powered than with streaming.

I can agree on all levels with Owen. Queen will likely "flop" on streaming but I feel like Ariana's won't do that much "better" either. I feel like until EVERYONE knows about this whole streaming thing that we really won't see females necessarily "takeoff" until then imo. More females and the GP need to stream and plus Nicki's peak has came and went.

^I have a feeling the songs from Sweetener might do better on streaming than those of Queen based on that.

With the downplay Sweetener is getting on here I feel like it'll overperform... Obviously Ari won't pull Drake numbers, but I bet it'll do great on Spotify. (it better)
