Encore!
Jessica Andrews "Unbreakable Heart" This was released as the third single from her debut album and peaked at #24 in early 2000. This was originally recorded by Carlene Carter for her 1993 album Little Love Letters but peaked just shy of the Top 50.
Lisa Brokop "Take That" This was released as the second single from her breakout album Every Little Girls' Dream and went on to peak at #52 in the States and #34 in Canada.
Holly Dunn "Are You Ever Gonna Love Me" I went back to 1989 for this one which went on to become her first No. 1 hit.
Anita Cochran "Fight Like A Girl" I decided to highlight this song from her which was released last year and was inspired by her year-long battle with cancer.
Wynonna Judd "To Be Loved By You" I wasn't really sure what additional song to highlight from her so I opted to go with one that has yet to be featured in a YE Rankdown (it'll be in a future one for 1996 hosted by yours truly) and is also a personal favorite of mine. This was released as the lead single for her album Revelations and went on to become her fourth No. 1 solo hit.

That's all for tonight folks! I will be out of town later this week and into the weekend so I'm going to try and get us to the Top 30 before I leave.

"Tell Me Why" would've been my pick for Wynonna. That's one of her more popular recurrents that I still hear on the radio occasionally and is without a doubt my favorite single of her's. That one would've been quite high for me, but for me "Girls with Guitars" is rather meh.
Disappointed to see the songs from Holly Dunn and Lisa Brokop leave so soon. Both of those are jams. </3

If it had been Just Between You and Me or the flawless She Ain't The Girl For You, The Kinleys would have fought for a Top 10 spot in my list, but Please isn't very good.
Jessica Andrews is so talented and a favorite of mine but that song was never my favorite!

Otherwise I don’t remember the last time I heard one of her songs on the radio from any other album but the first two save for the Clint Black duet “A Bad Goodbye “.

I’ll be back this evening to reveal the next five 90’s Ladies, but until then here’s a few things you can expect to see:
- Two of you will say goodbye to your #51 while three others lose their #50 - 13 additional Bottom 5’s will be exiting - We say goodbye to the second song that was a No. 1 hit - Only four of you will lose a Top 5 while six others lose a Top 10
And here’s two hints that actually reveal four of the next five songs....

Y'all can blame me for one of those songs leaving next, but as a fair trade, I'll blame some of y'all for tanking one of my favorite discoveries that actually grew on me upon second (or third) listen. How's that sound? ;) {If no one knows what I'm talkin' 'bout...}Dolly, Sherrie, Carlene, and Suzy are probably leaving soon...

The song for our next reveal made me think of the Tom Petty classic "Learning To Fly" which Cody Wants Out... correctly guessed I'm learning to fly but I ain't got wings (Fly up high in the blue sky, lookin' down on the world below) 35. We say goodbye to the great Dolly Parton who is our second artist to leave who was also featured in the 80’s Ladies rankdown. “Eagle When She Flies” was released in late 1991 as the final single to the album of the same name and would go on to peak just shy of the Top 30. Unfortunately BackwoodsBarbie loses a Top 3 ranking while g8erboi also loses a Top 10. Cody Wants Out... ended up with the lowest ranking for this one and two others also placed this in their Bottom 5 while the remainder of the rankings ranged somewhere between the low 40’s and mid 20’s. I wasn’t all that familiar with this song prior to searching for a song from Dolly’s 90’s catalog and once I found this one I thought it fit in perfectly with the overall theme of the rankdown. I ended up liking this one quite a bit overall which gave it an initial bump inside the Top 30.

The song "Three Times In Love" was posted earlier this afternoon hinting at not one, not two, but three of the songs that will be leaving next. I'll give an additional hint...all three songs have one word in common. Any guesses on what that one word is???

We must say goodbye yet again to another female act that was showcased from the previous rankdown with The Judds bowing out next. “Love Can Build a Bridge” was the second single released from the album of the same name in 1990 and went on to peak at #5. Your host loses a Top 10 while three lose a Top 15 and two others lose a Top 20. At the other end we have gardyfan losing their last place ranking with an additional three others losing a Bottom 5. I’ve always loved this song but knew that it wouldn’t receive the kind of support some of their hits from the mid to late 80’s. I still wanted to make sure to showcase them for this rankdown as the duo was still a force in country music going into the early 90's before they disbanded in 1991.

And just like that a fourth female artist showcased from 80’s Ladies is next to leave with K.T. Oslin’s “Come Next Monday” exiting. This was her fourth No. 1 hit and would be her final Top 10 country hit. Yours truly loses a Top 5 ranking while Kanenrá:ke also loses a Top 10. This song did receive quite a bit of support as four of you placed this inside your Top 20 and two others in their Top 15, but it could never quite rebound from the five Bottom 5 rankings and lower to mid 40 placements. This song also wound up being the second most polarizing song of the rankdown! This is a gem that I still hear on the radio frequently and that video is one I’ll never be able to forget lol.

Sherrié Austin’s 1997 Top 40 hit “Lucky in Love” bows out next and wasn’t lucky enough to reach the Top 30 even though it remained an early contender with the help from three Top 10’s. .indulgecountry ’s #50 placement followed by Troublemaker ’s #51 last place ranking right after that made this one have to settle just shy of that mark and settled in at #32.

The last and final reveal tonight actually had two clues as the female artist shares a personal connection with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the title of the song features the word "Love".
