Yeah Katy should’ve followed up CTTR with Witness and Roulette. But Bon Appetit (Solo Version) needed to be a single just so we could get that epic music video.

I actually love BA but I didn't think it was gonna be a hit single regardless of what happened BA is literally my favorite thing from Witness, barring the Migos verse but thats why we got a solo version and live performances
Music video was also really fun, even though that cgi pie at the end is...somethin

Swish Swish should have been second. :( I think the era would have gone much smoother.

I loved Katy blindly up to CTTR, but I still think there was no path for the Witness album as it is to be a hit. Nothing really stood out in the right way like, say, the obvious single choices during the Teenage Dream era.

Power is terrible. It was deleted immediately. But i agree that the singles should've been CTTR -> Witness -> Roulette

I don't get people's obsession over Roulette. Lol. It's nothing particularly exciting or interesting. The single choices weren't bad. The execution was.

Witness reminds me of Teenage Dream because you knew what songs were meant to be singles. Except with Witness, the single choices weren’t as drastically different from the album tracks.

Smile (the song) came out at midnight and my overall opinion is it's very uplifting but it goes nowhere. You can tell the bridge originally featured Diddy because there's just a big empty space where his rap part would go.

Power might be the worst song on Witness. Then there are the 1 or 2 ballads that do nothing. Then Chained To The Rhythm, which is still silly and awkward. But the rest of the album is ace! Roulette is the smash that should have been.

Her star power has unfortunately faded in recent years and people just sort of disposed of her. She is still working her ass off (especially pregnant) for this new album.

Is the extra song on the Target exclusive a new track, or a remix?

I wonder if the Target exclusive and the fan edition of the album are each going to have different songs. I might be buying multiple versions of the same album because I already have my iTunes pre-order in which only has thr standard edition available.

“Into Me You See” has to be one of Katy’s bottom 5 songs ever.

By The Grace Of God is my favorite Katy ballad. So much raw emotion in that song.

Am...I about to stan Katy Perry? “Smile” is great, I’m thrilled for the success of “Daisies” thus far, and with the direction her music has gone in ever since NRO, it feels like she’s on the cusp of a really big, well-deserved resurgence in her career. Also, reading her story about how the last few years have gone, it just makes me want to root for her that much more, now that she’s engaged + pregnant + creating such excellent pop music.

My favorite Katy ballad is "IT TAKES TWO". I adore that song! Ghost is my fav! I love Ghost also, is that a ballad? Sometimes people call songs ballads and I think WHAT? Like I've read reviews where they refer to Dreamlover and Always Be My Baby by Mariah as ballads...I don't get it. I would never refer to Ghost as a ballad.

“Into Me You See” has to be one of Katy’s bottom 5 songs ever. I was so hurt by that because Hot Chip produced it and they are one of my favorite groups of the last 15 years. Same with Purity Ring turning in their weakest material for Katy. But yeah, let's pray Katy doesn't give us another Intomeacy moment.

Is it just me or is Billboard constantly writing articles about her and posting them on Facebook? I'm delighted to see it
