Damn if 6ix9ine was shot that would be awful, good thing he's still with us.
I wouldn't wanna wake up to find Fefe at #1.

My heart dropped when I saw 6ix9ine was shot. Thank God it was a joke. We can’t lose another young rapper this year.

What's driving The Sound of Silence this time? I think it's because of 9/11 Sorry for replying so late on this, but since no one else has commented further, why would 9/11 particularly cause it to go back up? I haven't noticed it rise on any previous anniversaries of 9/11. Is it because of the ever increasing rise in popularity of the Disturbed version specifically? The lyrics don't seem to particularly pertain to 9/11 though.

I've seen recently that Disturbed's version of the classic song has been slowly replacing the original, it usually gets a sales bump every time there's a national tragedy. The title and lyrics relate to tragedy, so that's why people have been listening to it over 9/11.

I really hate Disturbed's version of The Sound of Silence, lol. It's just way too tryhard for me, idk. Aside from being sort of a meme, the original is actually still a pretty good song that holds up well enough.

I saw dozens of people sharing it over the last few days. All of TSOS's spikes can be traced back to viral events and television appearances. It's insane how often that song is used for everything. A few months back it had a spike just for being featured on a dance show and being used for a viral NASA video.

Killshot would have debuted at #1 on Billboard if he released the diss track on all the platforms.

Is GLY guaranteed #1 in IMF’s 11th week?

(Idk where to post this but since it's the 13th biggest Hot 100 hit of all-time...) Closer has been certified DIAMOND!!! This is both incredible and funny considering the downward trajectory the career of the Chainsmokers has taken since then. Everything they've dropped since has performed terribly. Crazy how this music thing goes sometimes.

Is GLY guaranteed #1 in IMF’s 11th week? Should be at this point. Only way that doesn't happen is if GLY somehow drops harder on radio in that tracking week than IMF, and quite frankly, I don't see that happening.

fhas we have the YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and radio figures for the tracking week. Where do your predictions have IMF and GLY?

IMF 36,900 (-10%) GLY 35,300 (-7%) I will be surprised if IMF is not #1 this week. Next week, it seems like it'll be close again and I don't have an early favorite.

i think radio figures will be the decider.. in billboard's article they said IMF was slightly ahead and the radio prediction #'s were 85 million for IMF and 130 for GLY ... are those predictions accurate for both ? or did someone have less radio ?

IMF could only lose if they overestimated his streaming figures of 40 million for this week ? do you think this is accurate ?

They're overestimating both, especially GLY because it never reached 130M and peaked four weeks ago (129.7M - Hot 100 dated as Aug. 25). I have In My Feelings with 84M and GLY at 125M.
