2010s can be divided into multiple sections: (Ballad Music exists in every era till the Hip-Hop era.)
2010 - mid 2012 : Club Music Era
Late 2012 - 2013 : Indie Music Era
2014 : DJ Mustard and Pop Rap Era (Also the era where parodies were most popular)
First Half of 2015 : Pop music
Second Half of 2015 - Mid 2017 : Tropical Music, Vine Dances Rap Songs, and EDM flavoured music.
Late 2017 - Now : Hip-Hop and Mumble Rap (Trap) era. Every rapper that is alive has released a project either in 2017, 2018 or both.

I just heard On the Floor earlier today, and holy hell it sounds dated. Kind of strange how what was argueably J Lo’s biggest hit ended up being so forgetten and of its time sounding.

Just Dance, Poker Face, Tik Tok, Hold It Against Me
And many songs from 2012; that year in particular

Has nobody mentioned Meagan Trainers No yet? I heard it the other day again and thought that it was from 2000 instead.

Almost all of the dancepop and electropop from 2010-2012 sounds dated today even though that was my favorite time in music.
Anything dubstep or dubstep-inspired is horribly dated. I'd say it's safe to assume that anything tropical house is dated by now.
I enjoyed the trap-inspired trend when it started but I'm ready for that to become dated now. I also hope mumble rap gets left in 2018.
Also, a lot of songs I consider "Novelty nostalgia" (very popular song but sounded different from current trends) sound very dated (Rude, All About That Bass, Royals, Thift Shop, We Are Young, Call Me Maybe). I still love these songs though!

Imo there’s a difference between songs that were intentionally dated at the time of release because they were harkening back to a different era (ie No, most Bruno Mars songs) vs songs that were very much on trend at the time but are now very dated.

Indie songs like We Are Young, Ho Hey, etc. Disagree on "We Are Young"; the rock anthem/big chorus formula doesn't seem much different than more recent hits for Imagine Dragons or Panic! At the Disco, among others. Same for its followup, "Some Nights". "Ho Hey"s folkish sound probably isn't too dated by indie standards (if anything it's sort of timeless), but on pop radio it was an anomaly even then. The Lumineers themselves have continued to have rock/alt hits that haven't crossed over to pop.

Lo's 2001 hit "I'm Real" was a much bigger hit than "On The Floor". Chartwise, "If You Had My Love", "Love Don't Cost a Thing", "Ain't It Funny", "Jenny From the Block", and "All I Have" were also at least as big as "On the Floor". And IMO the last two are at least as dated as OTF, though they are older. Maybe also "Ain't It Funny", though as with "I'm Real" we're really talking about two different songs (the solo originals and Ja Rule "remixes" are basically different songs with the same titles.)

LMFAO, all their songs. My pop station played Party Rock Anthem in between rockstar and Lucid Dreams and it sounded very weird. When "Party Rock Anthem" was current, people said the same thing when 90s R&B or Pop hits by Ginuwine, Keith Sweat, Aaliyah, Usher, Backstreet Boys, 'Nsync, and Christina Aquilera were played between the likes of LMFAO, Ke$ha, Pitbull, David Guetta, and Taio Cruz. It's not weird at all. Music just changes every 5-10 years.
