This week (and next week if GLY is still #1) has to be competition for the weakest performance ever for a #1 component charts right? Yes. It's an average #13 on the Digital Sales chart (14k), average-to-weak #13 on the Streaming Songs chart (23.2M) and one of the weakest radio #1s of the year (114.2M). Nice For What had a week where it was #5 on radio, #10 on streaming and #11 on digital sales, but that was the "Scorpion Week" and the #10 song on the Streaming chart was stronger than the current streaming #1. |

I know WAKS in Cleveland has played thank u, next 7 times and counting, so the song has been sent or at least played across many radio stations multiple times today. Betcha video Breathin/Thank U Next MV is coming tonight as well.

what the hell??? The most overrated song of the decade...f**king 5 months in the top 10 LD is great I have nothing against the lyrics and instrumental (song overall)...it's just his awful voice, idk |

I'm pretty Positive Lucid Dreams is gonna beat God's Plan as well... And possibly hit that 30 week mark...only 9 more weeks? With it's radio and streaming power, it's not unlikely
TBH I wouldn't be surprised if GLY straight up beats SOYs record

Say Ariana gets 2.8-3.5m tommorow on U.S Spotify(it’ll be a Monday update so songs usually increase *fingers crossed*). What are her chances still to go number 1. Also going along with 43-55k sales

Don't quote me on this but isn't there never going to be a song with tremendously higher AI peak? In regards to stating that GLY had a weak AI peak. I remember earlier in the year songs dropped 30m~ AI because some panels were dropped or something?

Despite the re-weigh for radio, a song can still get near 200m, if it has crossover power on radio similar to Happy/All of Me/Blurred Lines. Those were played on Top 40, HAC, AC, Rhythmic, Urban, Urban AC, and get a bit of coverage in other formats (Spanish, Rock, etc). For a song with 15 weeks #1 on radio, GLY has basic crossover power in general. It's reached #1 on Top 40/HAC/AC, and managed to not even go top 20 anywhere else. So many other songs regularly crossover to those 3 formats, hell almost every Maroon 5 single goes top 10 on all those formats. The reason GLY's chart run on radio looks so amazing & rare is because there's a drought on radio, similar to the Hot 100 #1 drought and its serving big longevity on T40/HAC/AC. |

Ariana doesn't use bots tho( not to my knowledge ). If those numbers are true, #1 it is  . I will gladly accept it dethroning GLY if it means Ariana gets her 1st #1. |

Her second day numbers did big damage, over 4 million streams yesterday (4,190,168 plays) in the U.S. If she continues to pull these impressive numbers and #1 debut seems very likely.

Ariana is so debuting at #1, I’d be shocked if Girls Like You manages to hold on considering how weak it is. And Happier doesn’t have the streaming TYN has to hit #1 next week.
