The cover remembered me of the Supermodel era. However it's my least favorite era of them, I'm still excited.

Ryan Tedder apparently worked on this:

not tedder, hes the worst producer, both nites and days, he kills original ideas

Tedder writes original songs for his own band, but seems to write the same song for everyone else? I think he does that on purpose, so his band's songs stand out more. As long as he doesn't make Foster The People's new songs sound like "Halo" or "Apologize"

His voice sounds a lot like Maroon 5 on this.

Very nondescript lead single. Doesn’t sound like a hit.

This is pretty good, like they mashed the styles of their last 3 albums into one song

Not a fan on first listen. Seems like they were trying too hard to intertwine influences from both the SHC and Supermodel albums and the result is kind of a mess on this occasion. Hopefully this grows on me, some of their previous work that I didn't like initially has.

Just heard this and I like it. Might be pandering a bit due to SNTM’s surprise success but I’ll take it considering I enjoyed SHC way more than I ever will Supermodel.

It does have a cool indie disco vibe. Foster The People song part 7. That pretty much sums it up for me.

15 adds on Alternative, sounds pretty pop to me.

From the portion of it I heard on the radio, I thought it sounded pretty good, better than "Ride or Die" to be sure. Then again I liked "Doing It For The Money" too.

This sounds like Maroon 5.
The year is 2018, so that’s not a compliment either.

This is an interesting year. If you had of told me 6 years ago Foster the People would have a sleeper hit with a second single from a mixed review their album, an EDM artist would hit #1 and Panic at the Disco would have TWO #1 songs all within the year I'd think you're crazy.
Not to mention the fact 13 songs that have reached top 10 Alternative went to the top 40 Pop Songs.. 13 crossover hits.. that's insane

This sounds like Maroon 5. The year is 2018, so that’s not a compliment either. it does sound Maroon 5, who has lost any alternative credibility, for Foster The People it is a definite step towards commercial music, which is really sad

At first listen, I didn't like that much but it's getting better listen after listen, the chorus is so good! I like that video too!

I agree, this is a grower. On the first listen I thought it was mediocre but I'm warming on this.

A bop, but a bit generic and too poppy perhaps.
