Is it just me, or does Pop radio seem to be trying to shuffle newer songs in a lot faster than usual? There’s been a lot more gains and losses of over 400 daily spins lately.

Christmas radio Christmas doesn't affect pop radio until literally a few days before the holiday. Only AC is currently being affected. Besides, if you look at AC, you'd see that Christmas causes songs to lose spins or stay stable, not gain massive spin amounts. |

I can't help but think about how these past few weeks have been a missed opportunity for Katy Perry's team to start a new era. A catchy pop song (not some "political pop" crap), proper promo, and the weakness of the charts could have given her another #1. Grrrr.

If Ariana really releases another album, which she should, she will join an extremely elusive list of pop acts (and even artists in general) who have released two major albums in a calendar year. I want this to work out so it becomes the new normal. LOL

Regarding holiday music, I would hope more songs could re-enter or debut this season given how weak the Hot 100 has been overall. Last year was a breakthrough one for the genre in streaming.

Just because i don't know where to post this, why isn't baby shark in the hot 100? I know the 50th song in the streaming chart gets at least 9-10 million streams and i think that's enough to make it into the hot 100. Baby shark is currently at 36 which means it is getting 11+ million streams. Is it because all of its streams are from youtube and they don't count as much?
