Just wanting to go back to say "Long Stretch Of Lonesome" is one of my favorite Patty songs, I figured it'd not do well but wasn't expecting bottom 2 so that was sad :(
"The Party Ain't Over" is such a fun jam and I swear I remember it being a single haha

This happens to be 2 of my favorite Patty albums ever (Dreamin' my Dreams is a close third). I really miss those days when most albums had zero fillers.

What will be #1? "The Last Thing On My Mind"  What will make up the top 3? TLTOMM, "That's The Kind Of Mood I'm In", and one of the ballad album tracks...Maybe "My Heart Will Never Break This Way Again" or "She Never Stopped Loving Him"? What will be #10? "You're So Cool"  What will make up the bottom 3? YSC, "The Key Of Love", and "You Don't Get No More". Any other thoughts/comments? This album is such a disappointment in the context of the string of great albums that came right before it, but it's still not bad overall when you consider it as an individual entity, lol. "You're So Cool", however, is one of the worst opening tracks I have ever heard in my life...

I'm really glad I participated in this album series, it's been a great learning experience on one of the country greats!

I was figuring this would be out among the first few reveals. For as much as people were predicting “You’re So Cool” probably because it doesn’t really fit Patty, I felt the same about “The Key Of Love”. There was an obvious attempt to give Patty a “pop” sound on this album and it shows on this track and YSC the most IMO.
Still not a bad song though, just wish it was someone else singing it.

Yeah this stood no chance to really go high in this rankdown. One thing I really do enjoy about the song is I can completely hear both writers' styles clearly. I'd love to hear Carolyn do it as I think it'd fit her style a lot better.

"You're So Cool" is better done by Martina McBride when she sings those three words for like two seconds during her own pop song "I Love You." YSC was a mess.
"Pieces on the Ground" on the other hand was lovely and I would've liked to see it go to the Top 5 at least.

I think there was an accident with the links for the songs, because the first two songs had the same YouTube link. Because of that I ended up listening to "You're So Cool" *after* all the other songs rather than first. What a stroke of luck that was! I imagine if it was the first thing I heard, it would've given me an unfairly negative impression of this album out the gate. I think it's probably my least favorite song of the whole album series thus far.
