I'd imagine if there's another single, it'll be "Must've Never Met You"

"Beautiful Crazy" makes its Mediabase Top 50 debut at #47. Luke Combs gained 14 spots as he was previously at #61, "Beautiful Crazy" gained 273 spins. You have to go up to song #22 (Michael Ray "One That Got Away") to find a song with more spins gained for the week.

Kind of crazy this almost has double the streams as "She Got The Best Of Me" already (60 million compared to 34 million) on Spotify

I see Bebe Rexha is his biggest threat. Don’t count out Greta Van Fleet, who is leading a rock music revival right now. They seem like the type of band the Grammy’s would love. I guess it's possible they could win since all the other nominees are Pop, Country, or RnB, so there could be vote-splitting between all of them, but their debut album has a 53/100 score on Metacritic. Bebe Rexha isn't a critical darling or anything, but even she has a score of 65/100 for her's. Given the simultaneous nomination for H.E.R. in the Album of the Year category, I'd say she's the front-runner for the award though.

Given the simultaneous nomination for H.E.R. in the Album of the Year category, I'd say she's the front-runner for the award though. Bebe Rexha, Luke Combs, Greta Van Fleet and Dua Lipa are the popular choices to win this but if you look back at the past winners of this award popularity doesn't win this for you most of the time.
Examples 2016 - Chance The Rapper wins over Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris and The Chainsmokers 2014 - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis win over Kacey Musgraves & Ed Sheeran 2012 - Bon Iver wins over The Band Perry & Nicki Minaj 2011 - Esperanza Spalding wins over Justin Bieber, Drake, Florence & The Machine and Mumford & Sons
I mean these are just examples of this past decade when I thought they picked the wrong winner. Some of these winners may be more popular to some of you all but to me I can pick someone in each of these examples that I'd rather had seen win than the actual winner. So you never know we could see Margo Price, H.E.R., Chloe x Halle or Jorja Smith win this. I'm actually pulling for Greta Van Fleet to win this myself. The guys are putting rock music back on the map I think. Luke would be my second choice though if they don't win. I'd actually love to see a real rock artist win a Grammy though.

So not only is "She Got the Best of Me" still in the MB top 5, but it actually saw a half million audience INCREASE in the past day.
It's basically still at #1 audience levels. I definitely haven't seen anything like this since I've started watching the charts, and it's nuts.
Meanwhile this song is racing up the charts as expected.

I definitely haven't seen anything like this since I've started watching the charts, and it's nuts. This used to happen a few times back in the late 90s and early-to-mid 2000’s. It’s just that in this day and age of the singles chart, songs are expected to be artificially maxed to #1 and drop like a rock. This song (and artist) is just too big for that to happen, however. Radio stations still have “She Got The Best Of Me” in heavy rotation, a month after it was #1 at Mediabase. It’s impressive and it’s refreshing to see a big hit truly get rewarded at radio. “Beautiful Crazy” is #37 on Mediabase’s rolling chart today and should stay there for the final update. Amazing start to Combs’ career.

The only song going for adds this week was Devin Dawson's "Dark Horse" and Luke Combs edged him out to have the most added song this week. "Beautiful Crazy" had 28 adds this week (105 total historic) while "Dark Horse" rolled in 22 adds (24 historic).

"Beautiful Crazy" has the second highest bullet in the Top 30, as besides the huge push from "Good Girl" by Dustin Lynch, "Beautiful Crazy" has the biggest bullet on the Mediabase chart.
Luke Combs gains 5 spots to #17 on Mediabase, with a bullet of 856. The next highest bullet is 610 ("What Makes You Country" by Luke Bryan). Add on top of that "She Got The Best of Me" should have at least 1 more weekon Billboard.

Love Luke, but this one is just so vanilla to me. I mean its fine, and I certainly don't dislike it, but I really don't have much desire to listen to this one repeat much. The good news is this should peak fairly quickly, so we shouldn't be left waiting long for the next single after.

Luke Combs is in some pretty good company on this list. He has now spent 21 weeks at #1 on the country albums chart with his debut album, This One's For You (3 weeks in 2017, 16 in 2018, and 2 in 2019). He pushes Johnny Cash's 1969 album, Johnny Cash At San Quentin out of the top 25 (sacrilegious?). Anyway, here is the amended top 25. Enjoy!
These are the top 25 best charted country albums of all time. These are ranked by weeks at #1, NOT by sales (even though the #1 title is #1 in sales).
1. Come On Over-Shania Twain-Mercury-1997-50 2. Always & Forever-Randy Travis-Warner Bros.-1987-43 3. No Fences-Garth Brooks-Capitol-1990-41 4. Fly-the Dixie Chicks-Monument-1999-36 5. O Brother, Where Art Thou-Soundtrack-Mercury-2000-35 6. Some Gave All-Billy Ray Cyrus-Mercury-1992-34 7. Ropin' The Wind-Garth Brooks-Capitol-1991-33 8. This One's For You-Luke Combs-Columbia-2017-32 9. Killin' Time-Clint Black-RCA-1989-31 10. Need You Now-Lady Antebellum-Capitol-2010-31 11. Not A Moment Too Soon-Tim McGraw-Curb-1994-29 12. The Woman In Me-Shania Twain-Mercury-1995-29 13. Traveller-Chris Stapleton-Mercury-2015-29 14. Feels So Right-Alabama-RCA-1981-28 15. Mountain Music-Alabama-RCA-1982-28 16. Blue-LeAnn Rimes-Curb-1996-28 17. Some Hearts-Carrie Underwood-Arista-2005-27 18. Kenny-Kenny Rogers-United Artists-1979-25 19. Fearless-Taylor Swift-Big Machine-2008-25 20. Taylor Swift-Taylor Swift-2006-24 21. The Gambler-Kenny Rogers-United Artists-1979-23 22. Always On My Mind-Willie Nelson-Columbia-1982-22 23. Behind Closed Doors-Charlie Rich-Epic-1973-21 24. The Closer You Get-Alabama-RCA-1983-21 25. Wichita Lineman-Glen Campbell-Capitol-1968-20

Not to take away from his huge success, but he mostly just reminds me of B-lister mainstream country's standard fare from the mid 00s before FGL and the bro-country craze. He would sound right at home next to Rodney Atkins, Montgomery Gentry, or Craig Morgan, to name a few. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as I like that music. I am just surprised and struggling to see what he brings that is new or unique which has propelled him to such historic levels so quickly.

People like young bucks with a fun personality, and catchy country sound. That’s a big reason Luke and Jon Pardi are on fire. As much as old school country is dying, people still love a song like When It Rains It Pours and Head Over Boots. Read responses to Whiskey Riff’s tweets. It’s rare to hear a 2000’s sounding tune anymore. My dads 60, and those are the 2 modern era guys who stick out to him today. And I can see why. Most artists their age all sound the same and don’t bring anything new and exciting to the table. These 2, I dare say, almost resemble the Toby Keith and Alan Jackson of TODAY’s country climate. There’s not many young guys like them anymore. Realistically though: Luke Combs is today’s Toby, and Pardi is today’s Alan (or Joe Diffie). In so many ways.

To be fair, the three artists you mentioned probably get some of the highest levels of gold airplay out of anyone aside from A-listers. Not bad for some artists with only a handful of number ones between them. That's obviously a sound that was pretty popular 10 years ago and up until recently it had all but disappeared. Luke is bringing it back. It's just real, raw, authentic country straight from the heart.

I think Combs is already an A-lister in radio’s eyes. We got him for our annual station-sponsored concert this summer as a headliner and it was the quickest selling one in its history, and this concert has been going on for 20 years. We were in awe. I saw Luke last summer open up a show and the response for “When It Rains It Pours” was one of the loudest I’ve heard in a long time — people sing along to every word or that song and everyone knew his album tracks, singing along to those too.
He he doesn’t look the part necessarily or is as out-going in the media as some other star artists but the reaction from radio and the streaming/sales numbers tell me he’s going to be huge.
