What is gonna be #1? "Bottom of the Barrel"?? I really have no idea!
What is gonna make up the Top 5? "Bottom of the Barrel", "Montgomery to Memphis", "Don't Listen to the Wind", "Mama's On a Roll", and hopefully "Blame It On Me"...but honestly there's so many other songs that could likely make it in including "Don't Tell Me", "I Know Why the River Runs," and "A Man With 18 Wheels"
Which album will be the last to have more than 2 songs remaining? Lee Ann Womack and Some Things I Know with There's More Where That Come From being a contender as well
What album will be first to lose all its songs? Call Me Crazy
What song will be in last place? "Thinkin' With My Heart Again" or maybe "Do You Feel For Me" which seems like something that might get overshawded by everything else
What songs will make up the bottom 5? "Thinkin' With My Heart Again", "Do You Feel For Me", "The Man Who Made Mama Cry", "Wicked", "Tomorrow Night In Baltimore"
Any other comments/thoughts? My predictions are really just a crap shoot as I really don't have any idea how this is going to go, especially with a relatively limited about of participants. Even so, we've got a solid group of Tractors in the mix so this should make it really interesting to see who likes what tracks and who doesn't lol.

What is gonna be #1? "I Found It In You" is the ONLY option. If it's not that, it's incorrect.
What is gonna make up the Top 5? IFIIY, "Montgomery To Memphis", "Blame It On Me", "One's A Couple"...maybe "Man With 18 Wheels" or "Either Way"? It is really hard to predict though, and could go to any number of other songs!
Which album will be the last to have more than 2 songs remaining? Probably Lee Ann Womack or There's More Where That Came From.
What album will be first to lose all its songs? The Lonely, The Lonesome, and the Gone seems pretty obvious to me.
What song will be in last place? Now THIS is impossible to predict! There's not really an obvious last place in the bunch! Maybe "Talking Behind Your Back"?
What songs will make up the bottom 5? "Talking Behind Your Back", "Wicked", "The Man Who Made My Mama Cry"....I honestly have no idea what else!
Any other comments/thoughts? This will be very interesting!!!! I'm excited! I'm hoping that the Something Worth Leaving Behind songs don't get trashed too badly! I know the album overall isn't everyone's favorite, but to me the album tracks that made it here all have very distinct personalities that represent all of the best things about that album, and also gives them much more replay value than, say, the songs from Some Things I Know that may as well all be exactly the same.

I have no doubt that this also is likely one of Lee Ann's more recent favorite songs herself as she always has a lot fun performing it. Anyways, I know it isn't likely to win but I honestly have no earthly idea what will either.

Wtf? "Bottom of the Barrel" belongs in the bottom 5! Lmao. Welp, things aren't looking good for me then lol! I will say that songs such as "Bottom of the Barrel", "Momma's On a Roll", and "Don't Listen to the Wind" are much more in line with what you can expect to hear from a Lee Ann show nowadays. I've had the opportunity to see her live in many different types of venues (from arenas to stadiums to a local café) and she certainly seems much more comfortable at this point in her career than I ever remember her being. Heck, the last time I saw her a couple of years ago now it was just her up on stage with a drummer and a guitarist. Anyways, because of that I think I've grown to appreciate more of the material she's recorded going back to the The Way I'm Livin' era when she started to record songs rooted more in the Americana sound.

Given all that, the one thing that can bring us all together is some LAW! So, c'mon get down with the barrel with me :kii:

I mean, "Bottom Of The Barrel" was my #2 in the album rd, so I do love it. I just cannot imagine Pulse sending something from her recent indie album (that isn't nearly as well loved around here as her first indie album, by any stretch of the imagination) to a victory here over all the missed songs that could have legit been hits from her commercial years. To me it's basically the equivalent of thinking "Come See About Me" was going to be #1 in the Martina album tracks rd, lmao.

Nothing real unnecessary has happened yet!! I do like all of these, but they are definitely mostly on the "meh" end in relation to the rest of the list. I do like "Talking Behind Your Back", but the song stands out in a bad way on this list to me. The vocals are intentionally rough and borderline pitchy, as with a few other songs on the TLTLATG album, which works fine on the album, but not so much when you cherry-pick them out and put them alongside the super smooth vocals of the rest of her career. Also the melody is really choppy to me, and kinda hard to get used to. I am in the minority on the Some Things I Know album, as I thought outside of the perfect singles most of the album tracks were really boring, so while I would root for the album to do well in her singles rankdown, I would honestly be thrilled to see the whole thing get obliterated in the bottom 10 of this rankdown "The Preacher Don't Have To Lie" is a pleasant enough listen, but it is also just very boring compared to other songs on this list. I like it, but it's definitely one that belonged near the bottom here. The album tracks from her debut, however, are mostly all very solid, so I am a liiiittle bit disappointed to see "Am I The Only Thing That You've Done Wrong" this low. Just a little bit though, as it is still in my bottom half, plus it and "Feel For Me" are definitely the two songs from her debut here that kinda blend together, which probably factored against both of them here (guess we'll see about the second one!) I don't think the I Hope You Dance album really has any songs that stand out as her best album tracks of all time, but I still would have much rather seen TLTLATG or STIK be the first to lose multiple songs... "Thinkin' With My Heart Again" is definitely the one that makes most sense to be this low, but there is something about "Stronger Than I Am" that elevates it to the next tier for me. Something about the phrasing and delivery of the line "She finally learned to say goodbye" always hits me right in the feels, because it's intended to be describing their young daughter literally learning how to speak, but it also seems to me to represent her contentment in light of her parents' breakup. The way Lee Ann sings that line makes the symbolism all that much more impactful for me, and gives me chills.

Nothing out in the bottom five was unsurprising given that they tend to be the ones getting overshadowed by the rest of the songs in their respective albums. I ended up losing three of my own bottom five songs (“Talking Behind Your Back”, “The Preacher Won’t Lie”, and “Thinkin’ With My Heart Again”), so there’s not much I can squabble with over that. About the only song I was disappointed with seeing exit was "Am I The Only Thing That You've Done Wrong”, but that’s really only because there’s quite a bit of nostalgia wrapped for me up in Lee Ann’s debut album.
Kind of surprised to see “Slow Boat to China” exit so soon, especially after it had just landed in the top ten of Lee Ann’s extras rankdown. Only thing I would say is that it’d be great to have the actual recorded versions to fall back on! I think from a quality perspective this song might be judged somewhat in a different light.
And of course y’all would send “Wicked” packing already. This song is just straight up fire!
