Well, I would've lost a Top 5 if I participated. I actually named "New Year's Day" one of the best tracks on reputation. Granted, when I reviewed the album, I gave it a 4/10, but that song is particular was good. I liked the message about holding on to the memories, and it reminds me of her older work, with her sparse piano backing, which I prefer rather than her new stuff that honestly, has disappointed me.

"Worth It" is an incredible song. Danielle is one of the best female vocalists in the genre right now, but usually her material is not nearly as good as her voice. However, with this song that is not the case... This song is a slam dunk in every possible way. If Kacey Musgraves sang this, it wouldn't be nearly as good, but y'all would have pushed it all the way to the top 5 anyway...  |

I love Abby Anderson and this song grew on me, it's pretty and her voice is excellent, but I still couldn't rank it any higher than I did. It's just... too boring.

Her vocals are just not as impressive as her fans say. This song will sound better if one of the older female artists sings it. Have you ever watched any of her acoustic videos on YouTube? She records covers all the time of songs that shit all over her own material, and they all completely slay! Lol Here is "Breathe" if you want a good example of a more popular song :) I will admit that I have trouble rooting for her with a lot of the songs she chooses to record, but if she toned the production down a bit and got her hands on great songs, I think she would be looking at a much different career trajectory! |

"I Hate Love Songs" has to be the worst single choice she's had in her career so far (not that there are many). It's fine as an album track but as a single it's a bit too zzz especially following "Legends" which didn't leave as much of an impact even though it went #1.

"On My Way To You" is such a refreshing song to hear coming from a modern country artist I had actually never heard it before this rankdown, but I'm glad I have now! It's a shame Cody Johnson will never have mainstream success. This song alone is enough to show me he's an incredible vocalist! |

I honestly may have underranked "On My Way To You", it's still growing on me. It's a refreshing song to listen to in the current country radio landscape, hope it can go all the way to the top (on radio)! Edit: bboat11 said the same thing while I was typing lol |

"I Hate Love Songs" was on the lower end of the album for me so I cannot believe it was chosen as a single (still not worse than "Dibs" or "Yeah Boy" though.
I love Danielle Bradbery's voice but there has yet to be a song she has released that has won me over. "Worth It" was not good, and "Goodbye Summer" just not memorable. Rooting for her but she needs better material.

"Asking For A Friend" is a surprisingly good song to be coming from one of the many bland, faceless, new male voices in Country! I think this song has a nice groove to the verses and instrumental arrangement, and I love the way the chorus builds. Not to mention the lyrics are fairly clever, and definitely relatable. Proof that Devin might be able to win me over yet!
