I wanted to make this thread early because there will probably be quite a lot going on including: - "imagine" by Ariana Grande possibly debuting really high. It debuted at #2 on Spotify with 1.7 million streams
- Kodak Black album bomb. ZEZE could get a boost along with a decent debut for MoshPit and whatever else
- Possible album bomb for the new Spiderman movie soundtrack. Expect Sunflower to get a huge boost (I could see it going top 5 or even better)
- Looking at everything, I think High Hopes could continue getting a new peak. I don't see it going past #4 (It has a lot of competition) but I could see it passing Happier this week
I know it's only Saturday but a lot is already happening for the tracking week

Yeah, that’s fine, I would’ve done the same had it not been for a metric ton of travel I’ve been doing the past 2 days.
It’s gonna be interesting to see the chaos that unfolds in the top 10 this week, what with Imagine along with the potential bid of one or more Christmas songs.

Do these people have no respect for Mariah? F**k off with your releases till Dec 26. Ariana should pull all her songs from everywhere for a couple weeks and show her mother some love.

The features from 'Astroworld' are now officially credited according to Apple Music. Should be interesting to see if Billboard will credit all those artists now.

Kodak & Juice WRLD's MoshPit debuts at #11 on US Spotify. Sunflower rises to #3 behind double Ariana.

You do realize that the 2018 holiday season is not the only time that people will listen to AIWFCIY, right? Christmas doesn't end for good next year lol

If Billboard decides to update the features then yes. The editors over at Wikipedia now regard the song as a new number one single for Drake, Big Hawk and Swae Lee. So we'll have to see if Billboard follows suit. I personally hope that they do so that Stevie Wonder, Frank Ocean, and The Weeknd can some new hits to their names.

I was wondering why Sunflower/Zeze were going back up, so I came here ASAP! Album bombs for those'll be interesting, but I'm hoping High Hopes can grow up despite them.

Why is Spotifys updates delaying? Does it usually run slow on Sunday?

^The common thread to all of those artists is that the released albums this year and padded their numbers by being credited as featured in other artist's songs.

Shocked Brenda Lee is behind Bobby Helms and Andy Williams, usually Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree is the second highest charting song during the holiday run. Guess it's different this year.

I am astounded that songs from the 1950s can hit the top 20 at this point.

Yeah, but I notice it's out of the top 5 on recurrent AC play. I feel like it's usually higher? It's also #5 in holiday streaming, and I think it's usually #2 or #3? The differences are so small that it probably doesn't really mean much. To me it looks more like the Andy Williams and Bobby Helms songs doing better than ever. Their streaming has really picked up, so maybe they're being pushed on some playlists or a particular streaming service.

Andy Williams did alright last year (made it to #32) but I wasn't expecting him to almost break the Top 10 this year. Also Jingle Bell Rock came right the fuck out of nowhere, I believe this is the first time it's charted and it rising into the Top 15 was a surprise.

Also Jingle Bell Rock came right the f**k out of nowhere, I believe this is the first time it's charted and it rising into the Top 15 was a surprise. Are you saying you believe this is Jingle Bell Rock's first time charting on the Hot 100? If so, this is actually its 23rd week charting. I don't think it charted last year, but it did the year prior at #29. It's also in the all-time top 10 (maybe even top 5 at this point) on Billboard Holiday Songs, and peaked at #1 on Holiday Airplay as well, so its high placement now that streaming has kicked into full gear is not surprising to me.

Jingle Bell Rock did make the Hot 100 back in either the late 50s or early 60s. As did Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.
