There's a good chance that Sunflower goes #1 in a couple weeks. I'd sadly say it's got a better chance than Halsey. I like both tracks, maybe they can both go #1?
Chances for Havana or Perfect entering, despite increases this week, are pretty low. Perfect in particular needs to be higher than #25 and it's not going to be.

I wonder if Sunflower will be #1 in a week or two. Sunflower would've been the favorite for #1 this week (Jan. 12) if radio wasn't so slow. #1 Spotify, YouTube and iTunes #2 Amazon #9 Apple Music

last week was crazy and iām excited for this coming one. It's going to be crazy...in addition to 23 Christmas songs dropping off we'll also see the 21 Savage and A Boogie songs plunge or disappear completely. The chart is going to look very different this week from last!

It looks Country songs which aren't necessarily Hot 100 Recurrents got among the best kworb daily radio updates. Almost all Country songs in Top 50 were up around 30% week over week (aka NYD v Xmas Day).

It may look very different from last week but it could look very similar to the Nov 24 chart that didn't get included in the 2018 year-end. (In terms of songs on the chart, if not the actual positions they're in.)

Moreover, Christmas Day was eliminated from the rolling chart today.
We'll see big gains for newer songs in about a week from now, when the year-end countdowns are no longer factored in.

Shouldnāt the radio give rise to new songs instead of rising the old ones. The operative verb being "should".
Well, of course. But they're not going to add a ton of new releases that haven't been proven hits and don't scare away audience. Radio is no longer the leader but the follower.
Radio has fallen about 2 months behind the charts. Adult radio, even longer.

Is there a chance that Delicate will be back on Billboard's Radio Songs Chart?

Is there a chance that Delicate will be back on Billboard's Radio Songs Chart? No, because it isn't charting in the Hot 100. But there is a Radio Songs Recurrents where it could rise. It was #4 there last week.

Great legs for Delicate. Then again a song that "only" reached #12 on the weekly chart and made it to #24 on the year-end is proof that it was truly a long-lasting hit.
Makes me wonder how it would have fared earlier into that era.

Her obsession with responding to the Kimye drama and the whole snake thing really cheapened the era if you ask me.

Makes me wonder how it would have fared earlier into that era. Delicate really could have smashed as a lead single. Her obsession with responding to the Kimye drama and the whole snake thing really cheapened the era if you ask me. They built the entire marketing of the album around that narrative. And the only path for "Look What You Made Me Do" to become a #1 hit was being the overhyped lead single. I don't fault them for that. But as soon as the song started plummeting they should have gone in another direction instead of letting "...Ready for It?" wander on the charts, and then "End Game" starting it's run on it's own before peaking not that high. Oh well, as long as we keep holding her to the 1989 standards it's gonna be a tough comparison. Save for that album she's never been able to get more than a couple smashes from each album, at least in terms of the Hot 100. And like every artist who sold a lot of albums, she hasn't been able to transition into streaming easily. I'm really curious about what Adele's going to pull this year.

^On the last paragraph's point, both lead singles from reputation and Hello were greatly helped by their corresponding music videos. Checking Spotify's numbers for the US, I noticed there only lead for 2 and 3 days correspondingly. That's not even mentioning the further single releases from those albums. Witholding the non-released songs from the streaming services did help the album's sales, but greatly prevented both artist from establishing solid Spotify audiences.
That said, I'm also looking forward to Adele's album, which I'm already reading would be called 30. I hope the lead single from it doesn't disappoint and that the album itself does is good overall and does well in the charts.

If Taylor Swift wants to be successful in streaming, she has to do it Drake style.

And the next one will be self titled.

I get why new songs lose during year-end countdowns, but why do old songs gain? If a station does a top 30 or 40 countdown, that means songs are only getting 1 spin in a 3-4 hour span. Something like āDelicateā was probably still getting that anyway, so where does the gain come from?

Something like āDelicateā was probably still getting that anyway, so where does the gain come from? Filling in the gaps from all the Adult Contemporary losses during the holiday season. For example, Delicate posted a +2.389 gain there, and another +0.888 in the Recurrent HAC.
