Roxanne, Good As Hell, Dance Monkey and I think Don't Start Now definitely has a chance! That would be AMAZING if Don't Start Now could get there but I just can't see it happening |

See I understand the Roxanne thoughts but I don't see radio overall getting into it much. I hope Good As Hell can fit in there somewhere haha I feel like Roxanne actually might do fine on radio, but by the time it gets there its streaming might have already collapsed or dwindled significantly. |

Alright, where to begin?
I’m still betting on “Circles” to get at least one week at #1 given how weak the charts are right now.
“Good As Hell” seems to be an obvious contender to me thanks to its steady rise on radio, and I’m really looking forward to that.
Maroon 5’s “Memories” might get a week depending on the extent of the Christmas freeze this December. It still has a lot of room to grow both on radio and sales, and any remix might give it the required boost.
“All I Want For Christmas Is You” will reach #1 this holiday season, mark my words. Unless Adele, Rihanna, or Lady Gaga decide to conspire against Mariah and release their lead single during the Christmas tracking week, there’s no way it ain’t topping the charts.
Finally, once the Christmas freeze is over, I can definitely imagine “Dance Monkey” becoming the first #1 hit of the 2020s.

someone near the beginning of this thread honest to god predicted that You Say would go #1 There was an ‘unlikely’ written as a side-note, but yeah, that’s a Todd In The Shadows level of botched prediction 😂 All the posts predicting “High Hopes” to go #1 make me sad. If it wasn’t for its weak streaming, it would have definitely gone there, especially with the strength of its radio (it’s going to be the #1 radio song of the year, after all). |

I think GAH will get the week of the 14th, then maybe Memories for the 21st and 28th. AIWFCIY Jan 4th and then either Dance Monkey or Roxanne or both hit #1 sometime in January. The Weeknd is a wild card here, he definitely has a good chance of getting #1, possibly two times, but i could still see him only peaking Top 5

Maybe Blinding Lights but i just dont see The Weeknd getting a #1 on his new era, but Circles isnt very strong and GAH isnt quite there yet so we'll see |

The Hot 100 is predominantly stagnant around the two holidays (Thanksgiving-Christmas), with only a few juggernauts in recent memory dominating the winter climate (i.e. Blank Space, Hello, Thank U, Next) ...but what do you guys think will be the next songs to succumb to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100, here are my strong contenders for future #1 on the Hot 100 (not in order)
- Good As Hell (Lizzo)
- Memories (Maroon 5)
- Roxanne (Arizona Zervas)
- All I Want For Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey)
I don't see these songs peaking #1 but they'll get close (5-3)
- Trampoline (SHAED)
- Dance Monkey (Tones and I)
- Lover (Taylor Swift)
- everything I wanted (Billie Eilish)
...also I was here a few months ago when everyone was hyping up Adele; wasn't she supposed to release sometime this year or...?
