In light of the tragic news about Kobe, #cancelthegrammys is trending. I understand the sentiment but it's unreasonable to cancel an annual music industry event because a famous basketball player died. If they manage to pay tribute in some way, that would be appropriate and welcome. I liked how the Billboard Pre-Grammy show handled it. |

In light of the tragic news about Kobe, #cancelthegrammys is trending. These tweets don't even have 1,000 likes combined. It's not trending. There are obviously gonna be people who want that to happen but it can't. Why are you always the first to bring the drama to Pulse? |

It's an unfortunate circumstance, but asking to "cancel the GRAMMYs" and "cancel everything for the day" isn't...feasible or realistic. This reminds me of when Whitney Houston died the day before the show several years ago, and nobody was sure of what they were going to even try to do on the telecast. Sadly, these things happen. At least Whitney was related to music. Why tf would they cancel the Grammys because an NBA star died? |

Sixth time's the charm. This is PJ Morton's first Grammy win after five previous years of being nominated.
Anderson .Paak threw me for a loop - I just knew Lucky Daye and H.E.R. would win something - but I just checked and I realize now he's with Atlantic, so I should have seen it coming.
