Once again, TUN beats projections. As opposed to the conspiracy theory regarding last week, maybe we’re overlooking some factor that’s aiding longevity, like maybe a physical single (which wouldn’t be in the Digital Song total) or maybe strong performance on a less popular streaming service? Last week I put it at #3 by adding 21k sales. This week, I didn't count those "extra" sales because I thought it was an album week thing only. That's why I had it at #7, but it was kinda close to #4 (I just need to add 12k-15k). |

Talking about Rock/Alt crossovers, watch out Superposition by Young The Giant. It's doing great on alt charts and it sounds like it could perfectly become a hit on this chart It would be great seeing Young the Giant have a mainstream hit, Cough Syrup was robbed. |

Where are you guys getting all the positions before the official publication? Initially, Billboard updates their artist chart histories, so we can see new peaks. Later, ChartData usually tweets the entire chart, which he/she is doing right now. |
