Interesting... if SICKO MODE is #10 at some point, it will have been at every position in the Top 10!

Based on current trends, looks like Without Me will hold number 1 airplay for about 2-3 weeks. Let's see what it does with that.

The live performance has gotten over 12 million+ views so far across all youtube clips. Not to mention the music video has gained 8-9 million views since the performance and its views are continuing to increase at a faster rate (currently on 6 million over the last 24 hours - highest it's been so far I believe). #10 on Apple music, #1 on Amazon music, likely higher than #28 on spotify. #1 & #9 on iTunes with a massive lead still (likely going to sell 100-150k). Its streaming numbers and sales are likely going to be very big and I'm almost certain it'll hit #1 on the Hot 100 now.

Damn that's quite the jump on US Spotify. It was #28 yesterday (which was an 8 spot jump from the day before). With the streaming response being this strong, I'm convinced it will at least land at #2 on the Hot 100. 7 rings is still going to have both a small streaming and large airplay advantage. It really is looking like it's going to come down to what the sales gap is.

I think the airplay for 7 Rings is just too huge to overcome but #2 would be fabulous!!

Wow, radio really did Shallow dirty by ditching it the moment it show weakness. Then the live performances happened and Gaga will be happily laughing her way to another top 5 hit. Now that I think about it, isn't that what happened with Million Reasons also?

Yep, but Shallow IS already a top 5 hit, so top 3 is the goal.

Any chance Shallow could return to the pop radio chart? I heard it on Z100 an hour ago.

Now that I think about it, isn't that what happened with Million Reasons also? No, Million Reasons grew in airplay as a response to the SuperBowl so it peaked in airplay after the fact. This is the reverse problem with airplay peaking too early.

Any chance Shallow could return to the pop radio chart? I heard it on Z100 an hour ago. Yes, it's happened bedore. "Forget You" peaked at #16 before being purged. After its Grammy nomination and Glee usage, it exploded and returned to go all the way to #1. The same thing could happen here in theory, but as of right now, "Shallow" isn't even within the top 50 recurrents on pop, so it would have to cover a lot of ground before it could potentially re-enter.

But it’s not that it necessarily peaked too early it’s just running it’s course on radio but Oscars is giving it a boost thru sales and streaming.

Usually, but not always, the songs that are gaining are the ones that gets added to a new format. Rhythmic radio dropped "Happier" if that's what you were wondering.

But it’s not that it necessarily peaked too early it’s just running it’s course on radio but Oscars is giving it a boost thru sales and streaming. Not really. It was purged, meaning it got to a point where radio PDs decided not to continue pushing it upwards and dropped it before the natural order of the rise and fall could do it in. It's not like the song had a super high burn rate because of its age and went recurrent properly. In fact, if radio had not given up on it when it did, it still wouldn't be eligible for recurrency. This past Sunday would have only marked its 18th week on pop radio, which is well within the nornal realm of chart length when songs don't peak early due to PD reluctance. If I recall correctly, it actually had decent callout scores. (Not great, but decent.) So again it wasn't like it progressed as far as it could before listeners were done with it entirely, thus it never ran its course. For some reason, radio PDs no longer wanted to support it, and there are a number of factors why that could be the case, but usually it's because someone on the other end isn't playing the field correctly, which is super likely in this case since it's a song made for a scene in a movie. I doubt there was any behind the scenes pandering, primping, and promoting to radio as there typically is for other releases, so PDs gave way to other tracks that both gave them what they wanted and what their listeners wanted.

Top three is doable for Shallow. Amazing. If sales approach 100k, 7 rings have to move over for a new #1 song... Again, amazing for a Lady Gaga song in 2019.

wow I hope Shallow can somehow pull that #1. I don’t even like the song or Gaga or Cooper but it’d be cool.

^ yes, Shallow is very dull and a snoozefest, but it would be nice to see it hit the top if it only means knocking 7r down.
