Yeah I probably ranked celebration too high. Still a good song overall.
I thought I ranked borderline in my upper half lol, not sad to see it gone tho.
How did I rate heaven is a place on earth 28. Though I’ve accepted it’s a deceng song cuz my work plays 5 songs over and over.

Nice, only 3 bottom 10s left I think. And bottom 20 might be cleared soon as well.
Haven’t lost any top 10s which is awesome, so far I’m doing well, but once we hit top 50, a lot more blood will be shed...

Damn at ABBA... I never really listened to them because I didn't like Dancing Queen, but The Winner Takes It All was my favorite discovery of the RD.

Only 2 songs now remain that finished at #8 or #9 in the year-end rankdowns (#8s: "Every Breath You Take" and "Bad"; #9s: "1999" and "Eye of the Tiger"). 2 of these songs I ranked at #1 for their respective years, though neither made my top 10 in this rankdown. The other 2 ended up adjacent in my ranking much further down.
My #100 just won't go down, will it? I don't think it's a horrible song or anything though I never really got the appeal of it either. Fingers crossed that it will miss the top half.

#64. Human League - HumanMan what a kick in the balls I just received here.  This is one of my favorite songs of the 80's. If there is one thing I loved about New Wave its the way they could dish out those ballads. In other ews: My #100 can go out any day now. The worst part about that song is that it was such a sore thumb among the 80's sound. It didn't sound anything like an 80's song. The music, the vocals. the whole production felt more like a 90's song. The 90's had some stellar songs too, but this stain should have stayed away from the 80's crowd. |
