Lmao very rarely does the last place song prove to be so unanimously non-polarizing! But "Suddenly There's A Valley" made it look easy, taking in a last place rank from literally everybody except for codyj100, who still thought it deserved the bottom 2. This song is soooooooooooooo sleepy. I think it is probably the most boring song I have ever heard from Reba. Can't wait to see how it does in the album tracks rankdown!!! Just kidding. It will not be in the album tracks rankdown.

Once again, I am so sorry for another delay on this one! I mentioned in a couple other threads, but I'll go ahead and mention it here too, that I have been busy lately doing a bunch of professional development trainings as we prepare for school to start back up in the near future! I'm back home now after being out of town for a few days, so I'm going to go ahead and get this one back in motion!

"A Poor Man's Roses (Or A Rich Man's Gold)" came with a lot of consistency in its own right, as it was put in the bottom 3 by everyone except three people, which was enough to make it our consistent #9, but was nowhere NEAR being a last-place contender thanks to the existence of "Valley" This song at least has redeeming qualities in Reba's vocal performance and kind of the chorus melody, but as a whole it is still pretty boring imo.

I kinda had a hunch that this Patsy Cline cover might end up in the bottom 3. I was just hoping it might be able to escape that fate.

"My Turn" is out next, and I'm a little disappointed tbh! While I wouldn't describe any of the album tracks on this album as being career standouts, this one at least sounds a bit like classic Reba. The reciprocal sexiness of this song at least makes it an engaging listen ;) While it made a run at the top 5 in the middle of submissions, it was not able to withstand codyj100's last place rank followed by a pair of #7s from 🌺CountryLineDancer and taylor, which resulted in it falling all the way back to #8 in the very end.

What?! I know that much of the material here sounds incredibly dated, but “My Turn” is one of those songs that with a more updated production could’ve easily found itself on one of Reba’s later albums.

In case you didn't notice, our bottom 3 songs were the 3 least polarizing songs of the rankdown!! Every song from here on out will be more polarizing somehow, lmao.

Two top 5 losses in a row for myself isn’t a good sign at all. I literally have no idea what to expect with some of these early albums.

"Tears On My Pillow" is alright. I don't have much to say about it, other than I am glad to get a perfect ranking from it! Lol. I do like a lot of the harmonies on Reba's vocals though.

#6 brings us our first random #1 loss from ClevelandRox ! This song imo stands out because of its arrangement. The intro music with the loud slapped bass paired with the baritone guitar sucks you in and makes you wonder what is going to happen next. From a subject matter standpoint, Reba sings songs about "the other woman" so well. The chorus is also quite catchy if you are in the right mood!

Other than a great vocal, “If I Had It My Way” just doesn’t click with me the way it must for some of you.

"I Can See Forever In Your Eyes" is officially the first single loss of this rankdown. It was the "smallest" hit on the album, although it still had a respectable peak of #18 on the charts, proving that Reba was starting to establish herself moderately well by the time this third album came along. This is far from a fan favorite in the context of her whole career (it only finished at #95 in the singles rankdown after all), but it was still a solid performer here. It was a top 5 for the entire rankdown, and was actually on pace to settle in as our #4 until the final #6 rank from taylor was enough to push it back to #5 at the last minute! Imo the best part of this song is that the chorus is very singsongy and memorable, certainly moreso than most of the rest of this album aside from maybe the other two singles.

Can we get “Long Distance Lover” out next please! Ask and you shall receive!!! ;) "Long Distance Lover" actually tied with "I Can See Forever In Your Eyes", but managed to win that tie thanks to a string of four #2 ranks, while "Forever" only got one. I do like this one, but I don't see how it managed to be quite as strong of a contender as it was. I do love the piano in the musical arrangement, especially when the low notes go on off-beats with the melody notes.
