I thought about the Tayla Parx collaboration too but I think Taylor's so obsessed with throwing hints left and right but never being too obvious. I'd love some new collaborators though and Tayla is hot stuff (even if she's a little bit urban leaning, hence out of Taylor's current spectrum).

She confirms a couple of theories, including:
- Palm trees meant 7th album
- 13 day count-down / stamp (obviously)
- Delicate Vertical video showing the aesthetic of this era by her finger nails.
Also, she posted the picture with the palm trees was posted on the day she finished the album. She also said that people haven't found all the easter eggs in the LWYMMD video yet, which she cramped full with them to be able to communicate to fans without giving interviews.

I was so ready for an announcement of a livestream or anything album related but she didn’t do anything at midnight EST. Let’s hope she’ll post something once she wakes up :)

Maybe she could release a SOLO second single until the album drops and already release the Drake feature in the album release week with a video, this would do wonders for the album SPS units and longevity on BB200. |

That was disappointing, mostly from a promotional aspect. She goes around promoting the whole “I put stamps cause I knew that I would announce something that day” idea and then she doesn’t fulfill her promises. That was indeed unexpected and lowkey unprofessional (since we hold Taylor to a higher standard amongst pop stars).

Even the palm trees on her Instagram (which were apparently posted the day she finished her album so had some significance) didn’t lead to a countdown like everyone was convinced. Her fans expect too much of her sometimes. They see what they want to see, believe what they want to believe.
In 2019, when release strategies are so volatile and reactive, how do you expect a major pop star to lock in the rollout schedule for her new era ~one year in advance? Those calendars go on sale in September for the upcoming year. It’s very likely that Taylor had nothing to do with the creation of that calendar at all (she’s busy!!!). Also, teasing dates on an analog calendar that only thousands of people bought vs. some digital medium, would be a very silly business decision - high risk with little payoff.

Yeah I totally agree that plans change and there's no way to know exactly how things will work out, but she confirmed the stamp theory after the April one "came true," which to me means that, at that point, she still thought something would happen on May 13. |

AP CodexThere was a fan who counted 115 rainbows in a Taylor Nation post on January 1 promoting the rep tour movie and correctly predicted something would happen on April 26. She also confirmed there was at least one correct guess for the album name and for the second single's name from fans. I think a lot of fans understood the seven palm trees being a countdown was a reach, but most of us thought they still had some kind of significance, and the fact that she posted them the day she finished the album does seem to confirm their significance. What you have is basically a combination of fans making knowingly far fetched theories on the off-chance that if it comes true, they can claim credit for being the one who cracked the code, mixed with legitimately crackheaded fans, and fans that just find it fun to play into the hysteria by making up nonsensical theories. A lot of the theories don't come true, but some do, and it's often the theories that only one or two fans came up with and never went viral within the fandoms that come true. Anyways, Taylor said that some things aren't actually Easter eggs, they're just stuff she likes a lot, and gave cats and "13" as examples of things she just likes a lot. So it's entirely possible the May 13 stamp meant nothing, or it was just a potential date that got cancelled, or it did mean something but we won't know the significance of the date until later.

Considering the fact there was a pin on Taylor's jacket with Troye Sivan on it, and this was posted May 13th... is this just a coincidence or do you think this was a hint to a future collab releasing soon? I do know Troye and Charli XCX announced the Go West Fest, but I feel like he wouldn't have to wait for that. I don't know. I'm throwing out whatever now.
