If the Katy feature exists I hope it's not the next single. NRO is doing well, let it grow! I would be shocked at a single with Katy when Katy just released a new single and already has another collaboration out. Whatever the new single is, I hope Taylor puts out a good song that reminds people what an amazing musician she is and that she doesn’t just go for a song because it sounds like a bop. If she has song that’s both, though, bring it on! |

I do think that the collab thing is gonna be the THING of the album. 2nd single with Katy on it will unite the two fandoms. Wooooooh
I'm thinking if that case is true, which will do better: the video is uploaded on both of their accounts or just Taylor's?

I’m pretty sure the song we’re getting today is going to be solo and if she does collaborate with Katy, it will be on the album.
Now, the collaboration might be on Taylor’s album only which means Taylor is the lead so she posts the video etc. If the song appears on both their albums though (which doesn’t sound likely imo) things might change.

I love it. I thought it would be really bad but she didn’t disappoint. Now let’s hope the song is nice as well. My guess is that “ME!” is going to be one of the first four tracks of the album, probably #2 or #3 and then the album will go on to touch other themes with a more mature & grown up point of view. The exact opposite happened so I’m gonna take this as half a win. |

Love the new single title and love that it is 18 tracks long.
I knew the title was LOVER, so I am not disappointed in that.
Nothing about the deluxe versions is worth my coin though.
I'll be up at Midnight for the single.

Honestly Lover was the first guess of most fans, and then she said no one had guessed it during one of those radio interviews to promote ME! ?
Not a huge fan of the title, but that's literally just a word right now, and if there is a good song that the album it's titled after I am here for it. Especially if it's a song without the obvious romantic connections - the world needs more lovers and less haters, She is a lover by heart, etc...
Love the cover and the colours for this era, and the fact we are getting 18 tracks. They might be quite short, but hopefully we will have a good mix.
Also here for the obvious connection to the Je suis calme!

I'm not ready for the Lover Tour next year that we all know is coming. This is released just in time for the Grammy cut off. I'm so excited! Love everything about it! I wasn't blown away by the Reputation era but this time she sounds like she is coming to top 1989. Bring it!

I'm glad she's sticking with her pattern of including stuff about her songwriting process.
It sounds like those two songwriting session recordings might be more in depth than her 1989 voice memos too? She was talking about how she keeps the recording rolling during the entire process from the initial moment where she comes up with the idea to adding and editing and how the audio recordings are the "full creation of two of the songs on the album that I really love".
