Literally a couple of months everyone hated "The Archer". Now it's a staple among everyone's favorites... Me and born being the OG Archer stans and everyone following our footsteps, we love to see it. Can I join your club lol? The Archer was my #2 (tied for #1 really) song from the moment I heard the entire album. One of my favorite Taylor songs ever Yes, we accept you in our archer's wings  |

In fact, I fell in love with "The Archer" from the moment I first heard it as a promo track. I just couldn't voice my love for it earlier because... well, I had to wait for my account to be approved. 🤷♀️ I was actually surprised to learn that most people online didn't think much of it, when for me it was a clear highlight from the get-go. |

The Archer hit me hard, back when it dropped, I was just out for a run, stopped at a park and legit cried while watching the sunset/contemplating my life...
The last 10 seconds of it building up to you think something BIG and then - nothing... kinda like life...

The Archer is just one of those things that I totally get what they were going for, it makes sense, they executed it well, and I just...don’t like it. I fundamentally don’t enjoy a song building up to a dud.
And it’s a bummer because the chorus is really catchy and the bridge really takes off with its intensity. It’s just a disappointing artistic choice.

I wanted “Call It What You Want” to escape the acoustic version treatment at tour cause I love the production and it did. I hope “The Archer” does too. She performed it with the studio instrumental track in her Paris concert so I’m optimistic.

(AND releases the live version as well!)

Red re-enters the Billboard 200 at #147 thanks to the Miss Americana boost this week. It has now spent exactly 3 years on the chart. 1989 and rep also re-entered if I'm not wrong; chartdata posted on Twitter (I get their notifications) also side note: I'm wearing one of my pieces of Lover merch that came in (the crewneck shirt/sweatpants combo with the little hearts on the legs) and I love it so much that i actually posted a selfie on Instagram lmao taylor merch is the best merch tbh |

I always like at least 1 between tracks 5 and 12 of any TS album. However, in Lover, Tracks 5 and 12 are my least favorite tracks. :'( I just find their energy out of place in the album.

kamala 2024 truther Given that Taylor Swift has a penchant for giving clues and having hidden meanings for almost everything she does, I don't doubt that she probably thought it all through. However, while I see where's she's coming from (especially given her recent struggles with Big Machine and her stance against the double standards on the music industry), I kind of wish we got rid of the whole 'men are trash' mentality that has been plaguing Twitter and stan culture in recent years. Just my opinion, of course 🙂

For some reason I always saw Sky Ferreira's music video for You're Not The One when I first played this song endlessly. I wish she would have done something more in the line of that for the visual. |
