After all of the talk of "Shallow" dropping, it might be "Sucker" that threatens for biggest drop from #1.

Why wouldn't "Sucker" have longevity? Seems like the kinda song radio will eat up.

Since Jonas Brothers are older now and have not really been an exclusively Radio Disney act for a while they may last longer than a week

It will last around 20 weeks on the chart like Part of Me and Pillowtalk.

So... anyone have any estimates? "7 rings" has a huge lead on airplay and I'm guessing the sales for "Sucker" won't be as big as they were for "Shallow" last week.

We can't yet tell how well it will hold on over the next week and a half, but it will obviously need to stabilize at some point if it's going to hang around.

Yeah and I don't think "Shallow" itself is much of a threat to "Sucker" this week; it will be between "7 rings" and it for #1. "7 rings" is pretty weak on iTunes and airplay ain't huge yet so I think "Sucker" might get it.

Sucker would be a back-to-back challenger for 100k sales right after Shallow. It's released on the first day of the tracking week and more than halfway through it still has 5 times lead over #10 songs on iTunes, that's epic! And Sucker (25m on-demand, 20m+ on youtube and others) would have almost double the raw streaming numbers Shallow had last week (27.3m). So it would be a very easy #1 debut. It's gonna hover above Shallow at overall points for a while

Oh, my point in comparing to "Shallow" was in terms of the points "Shallow" had this past week to be #1.

It will last around 20 weeks on the chart like Part of Me and Pillowtalk. Actually, those songs lasted 22 and 24 weeks, respectively. Look What You Made Me Do and Harlem Shake would be examples of #1 songs lasting 20 weeks in the Hot 100.

Don't underestimate JoBros. They've shown in their solo work (Close, Chains, Cake By The Ocean) that they are radio-friendly, and I'd expect Sucker to get more airplay than most of the songs currently in the top ten within a short period. Radio is hungry for hits they don't have to bleep.

Early prediction:
Sucker: 90k sales + 18M AI + 47M streams = 425 pts. 7 rings: 22K sales + 86M AI + 44M streams = 386 pts. Please Me: 26k sales + 50M AI + 35M streams = 293 pts. Shallow: 60k sales + 41M AI + 23M streams = 278 pts.

Now I think it might receive a total of 23M streams (10M from YouTube, 13M from Spotify, AM, etc). On the Hot 100 it will drop to #5 or #6.

Just bought my copy from iTunes!
Kinda cool that this could be the first number 1 single ever for the Jonas Brothers. Heck anything above number 5 would be a first for them.
I think they'll get it.

When I see what is #1 now, I feel sorry for NTLTC. "Sucker" is a good song, but #1 material? IDK...happy for their success tho.

2019: year of low quality #1s “Without Me”, “7 Rings” and now possibly “Sucker” Yeah, because 2018 didn't have "Perfect", "SAD!", "Girls Like You", "thank u, next", and "Sicko Mode".
