I hope Shallow breaks the record of biggest fall from number one this week What is the record? 1-15. It was achieved by Billy Preston's "Nothing For Nothing" in 1974. The week after, the record was tied by Dionne Warwicke and The Spinners' "Then Came You".

I thought it was held by the one Idol winner, what was his name, Taylor... not Swift.
I would think that with still decent streams and increasing airplay Shallow won't drop to #15, maybe #10-ish.

That only fell 1-3. But it only lasted 8 weeks on the Hot 100, and only made #99 on the year-end Hot 100.

I just notice that Wow lacks Youtube support. If there's only a real video i bet this is somewhere in the top 3.

The #1 thing is a done deal All predictions have it at #1 by barely a few points. It’s best not to get hopes up until Billboard actually confirms it; Aside from the prediction threads. Billboard also commented on it a couple days ago.

Didn't Shallow do better than that just last week? I mean Sucker is a hit but let's not pretend it opens with as big numbers as LWYMMD. But Sucker's performance on iTunes so far (8.5 times lead over the #10 song on the third day) is bigger than the third day of all the other Taylor's lead singles', and all the Katy/Rihanna/Bruno/Ed/Justin/Drake's lead singles', ever. If you don't believe me, check the iTunes popularity bar history on kworb. My guess is Taylor had a bigger lead on day 1, though? Plus “Shallow” is going to pass it within a day or two.

I don't think Shallow will collapse that hard. It still have a pretty huge lead over the next song after it in sales and about to retake the #1 in itunes from Sucker. Not to mention it's still #11 in Spotify, retain big daily numbers in Youtube, and actually have a resurgence in radio. I say it will probably be enough to get a #6-8 placement in next week's chart.

I hope Shallow breaks the record of biggest fall from number one this week That's not happening. We're already day four into the sales and streaming tracking period. "Shallow" still holds at #2 on iTunes (behind the Jonas Brothers, and closing the gap on them) with a very nice lead over the #3 track. 0.9252 for "Shallow" to 0.3577 for "Please Me." It's #11 on Spotify with ~2.8 million streams so far for the week and YouTube seems to be holding decently too where it's at #8. It's #22 on Apple Music but I don't know how it was doing earlier last week. Airplay will be up this week compared to last. It will absolutely drop from #1 (if it gets there to begin with), but it will not be dropping all the way to #16.

A few days later it peaked at around #15. Now is actually #24, with about 7 new Friday releases ahead of it.

Seems that Break up with... is dead and will not comeback in top 10. How does it seem like that? It has most likely peaked at sales and streaming already... Radio will keep it around for a while but it will probably live around #11-#20 for a bit until it peaks at Pop radio (much like "breathin", "Money", etc...)

It will absolutely drop from #1 (if it gets there to begin with), but it will not be dropping all the way to #16. Yea I believe it will stay on the top 10 but even if it returns to #1 on Itunes she will have dropped around 40-60k sales (compared to last week). On youtube it's getting more views than last week, right; but this week it won't have the performance impact, so from 12 millions youtube streams from last week it will go to like 7-9. On spotify it's yet to be seen how stable it will be. Airplay is surely helping. Still a big fall, nevertheless. On a different side. Please me got 11 millon Us views on frinday and saturday alone. It isn't performing as I expected on radio, though.

A director's cut for Sucker MV has been released which should boost streams furthermore for the end of this week.

It's still in the top ten of AM and Spotify, once the radio catches up it could easily return to the top ten
