It's the first day that contributes points to this chart, so hopefully it's not too soon.
Big question: How big an impact will Jonas Brothers make? Yes, Jonas Brothers.
Their reunion single, Sucker has a 2:1 lead over Shallow on iTunes already. And having raised a daughter who is still a JB fanatic, I can see it getting crazy Spotify spins.
Is a top ten debut possible?

I smell day 1 hype on that one, since it usually affects idol acts the hardest. If it's getting comparable numbers on Spotify and YouTube by Sunday, then a top 10 debut looks viable.

Edit - its already over 6 million views on YouTube. They're coming

I don't see "Please Me" reaching a new peak off the video — it looks as cheap as the song sounds and is objectively worse than the "Money" video.

I see the Jonas Brothers debuting high. I wonder how well Thomas Rhett will do. He's already #3 on iTunes, and he's got an SNL performance tomorrow. I'm pretty sure he's got an hourly deal on country radio as well.

Wow, I think the "Please Me" video is hot. I'm glad Bruno and Cardi didn't shy away from physical contact like Zayn and Taylor did. Lol wtf was THAT?
I haven't even heard the Jonas Brothers song but I'm all for their top 10 return.

I'm more surprised with the new Selena Gomez/Benny Blanco/etc song stalling at #10 and being red already tbh.
Also weird, very little amount of discounted songs on the iTunes top 100... I haven't been following the chart closely for a while now, but a few months ago discounts were a big reason why some songs kept selling well for abnormal amounts of time (wasn't "This Town" by Niall discounted for it's entire run?)
Kind of a dumb move from Gaga's label to not discount "Shallow" btw. Could have secured that #1 spot for the 03/09 chart, given how much it's relying on sales to get back inside top 5.

OMG Shallow is $1.29 on iTunes while the entire soundtrack was $2.99 on Amazon last week & a digital + physical CD bundle was $4.99 on ASIB store... wtf

Very good!! If JB goes top 5, that's by far the biggest chart surprise of the recent years considering that they have never been super successful on Hot 100.
Ariana, Gaga, BTS, Jonas Brothers, Halsey, Billie Eilish, the new era of pop is here!

That means it's gonna be #1 on the global charts... Would it? I don't know, I just checked the stream count on Spotify. Would that total stream count on the desktop app be first day?

So it's got sales and very good streaming... how's radio doing for it? I expect it's getting a pretty good amount of adds.

Ariana, Gaga, BTS, Jonas Brothers, Halsey, Billie Eilish, the new era of pop is here! Don’t forget Pop Malone, the new Ke$ha. You gotta have a lot of nerve to compare Elvis successor to Ke$ha. Where are the mods? Why hasn't this blasphemy been removed yet?

POP:— 32 JONAS BROTHERS Sucker 2020 0 2020 15.199 HOT AC:— 35 JONAS BROTHERS Sucker 362 0 362 3.113 19.6 million YouTube views. #1 on Spotify US with 3.1 million streams... To recap, #1 on iTunes, AM, Spotify, Youtube, and exploding on radio. Hot 100 #1 debut is very possible at this point, but I can’t see it missing the top 3 with streaming numbers like this. It didn’t even have TTT yet yesterday, so today’s streaming numbers could be even higher. Very impressive start I must say!

i’m honestly rooting for the jonas brothers to debut at #1. with those streaming numbers and radio debut, it looks promising. plus the song itself is pretty good.

Great year for pop so far This entire Jonas Brothers thing is extremely surprising to me, but I'm not gonna complain! After Nick Jonas struggling to get a follow-up to Jealous and Close for years + seeing DNCE crumble, who knew good ol JoBros would do the trick?

Let’s not hype this too much yet. “Sucker” should be #1 in sales for the week but it’s on a fast decline. Its opening streaming day was great, too, but how it holds up remains to be seen. A top 10 debut is assured due to initial hype, but whether this turns into a legitimate hit is another matter.
