YES, aside from swapping #4 and #5, I see I nailed the top 6 with perfect rankings After my "Emotions" blindside right out of the gate, the rest of this went very well for me! "Unmitigated Gall" is the only song from this album I can really see myself going out of my way to seek out much in the future, so I am thrilled to see it win. The arrangement to this is just so delightfully catchy in all the right ways. Paired with a really cool title, it's all-around just a great winner. "I Ain't Never" is catchy as well, and makes for a great highest album track. It'll be interesting to see how it, "Mental Revenge", "Burning Memories", etc. hold up in the album tracks rd.

What song will be #1? I'm gonna lean "Someone Somewhere Tonight". Of course single bias might help "Band In The Window" or "The Hard Way" pull it off as well, but in this case I think the single bias of Kellie Pickler's song will help Pam more than the single bias of any of her own songs from this album 😂
Which songs will make up the Top 5? "Someone Somewhere Tonight", BITW, THW, "Something Burning Out", and idk..... Maybe "Train Without A Whistle"?
What song will be in last place? Oh my gosh, the factoid about losing a #1 right away has me second guessing everything... What song could possibly have a #1 that everyone else hated?! Maybe the John Anderson duet? 'Cause what a disappointing letdown that song was...
Which songs will make up the bottom 3? "Life Sure Has Changed Around Us", "Crazy By Myself", and maybe "Bettin' Money On Love" (for the talk-singing parts)?
Any other thoughts/comments? Sure to be an interesting set of reveals. I am finding myself a bit more invested in this album than I was at first! After giving it several listens, I don't think I was giving it enough credit at first.

I was NERVOUS AF seeing a tag finally come through just now... The lack of anyone else's thoughts whatsoever really had me contemplating whether there was any possible scenario where everyone in the entire world could hate "Someone Somewhere Tonight" except for me 😂

That honestly genuinely surprises me. But, I went into this rankdown only knowing two of the songs, so almost everything was a new discovery for me. And this album wasn’t really talked about when it came out, so I guess we didn’t really know anybody else’s thoughts on the material.

"Crazy By Myself" just has a bit of a grating quality to it. The vocal effects on her voice in the chorus make the delivery of the "oh yeah, I'm a little bit out there" line in particular sound cringeworthy. And the bebop Clarinet flittering about through the arrangement adds an element of cheese that the song couldn't afford to add to its con list.
The ONLY choice for last place, imo. I was second-guessing myself in my predictions because I couldn't see any possible way a song like this could get a #1 rank, which caused me to say maybe the John Anderson duet could be in last place. But here we go! Sorry someguy!

yes kicking off our list is someguy's #1! I didn't hate anything on this album but this song was easily near the bottom of the album for me. I am curious to listen to it again and see if maybe I missed something that someguy heard because it is such a stark contrast to everyones list, as he is the only rank in the single digits! I think this album deserves a lot more praise than it ever got and it is sad it got shoved aside and rather forgotten for her. I think both this album and her last, It's All Relative, are both forgotten and while I can kinda understand why IAR is forgotten, this one shouldn't be. btw bboat11 I was hoping someone else would have posted their predictions just to see how everyone would interpret the #1 loss at #11, but unfortunately no one was able to post theirs. Since yours is the only one that was posted I will reveal that the #10 song is not one you predicted to be in the bottom 3 at all!

Lol that's gotta be one of the lowest standard deviations on the album!
"Over My Head" has a bit of an overly-simplistic quality to it that kinda cheapens it in comparison to the rest of the album. Like at first the "Over my heeeaaaad, over my heeaaadd" is kinda catchy, but the song never builds upon itself from there. Also, the breakdown at about the 2:00 mark when she suddenly starts singing quickly is low-key quite awful... Who chose that breath placement?!!? It's a fitting bottom 2.

bboat11 "Over My Head" is in fact the lowest standard deviation. I agree with your comments on this song, it doesn't ever seem to go anywhere and when compared to the rest of the album is just there so I was not one bit shocked at the ranks. Up next at #9 is a song that will 2 people lose a Top 5!

"Bettin' Money On Love" was a really hard song to rank. On the one hand it tells a really compelling story with great uses of personalities and character development (once you get past the whole "It's a long story and I don't have time to tell it" **Proceeds to tell the story anyway** moment), and the chorus is also really catchy, as is the driving beat that keeps the whole song trucking along. On the other hand, the talk-singing is reeeeeaaaally hard to get past.
It's the type of song that makes you want to tap your foot, even if you hate it.

I wanted to enjoy "Bettin' Money On Love" more but I just didn't love it and felt it deserved at the bottom. I think there was potential there but it just overall doesn't come together
Up next, someone is gonna lose a Top 3! This song spent time in the Top 5!
