Thus far with each one of the reveals I've been reaching just to remember exactly how the songs went. That is to say that overall I guess this one is a bit less memorable when compared to Dos Divas. I will say that each one of the six remaining songs were much more memorable and are some of my favorites from the album!

Well, at least my #1 rank managed to push "It's Over" into the top 5! This song was so eclectic, I figured it would be a bit of a polarizing track. For me it sounded like a case of big-risk-big-reward though. I loved the way that this was produced, and especially the way Lorrie and Pam's voices juxtaposed here. They completely made use of the fact that Lorrie's voice is lower and Pam's voice is higher, and it made for a very unique sounding duet that I have revisited more than any other song on the album since ranking it.

Oh, I just noticed the last two songs were tied in points! I initially had “Do Ya” at the top of my list, so had I kept it there it looks like it actually would’ve placed just one spot higher lol. I have no doubt that had Kanenrá:ke participated he likely would’ve ranked this one high on his list as well. “It’s Over” was definitely one of the highlights from a vocal standpoint. Considering that this is a Roy Orbison song, I had set a pretty high bar going into this and I have to say they nailed it.

As far as the extras go, I feel that the two hit singles are so far above the others. It will be interesting to see how they place though!

I'm quite surprised to see "Rose In Paradise" make into the top two! I actually didn't foresee it being so well liked. Anyways, this is my #1 vs. #3 and I'd be happy with either result.

yes tim's #1 triumphs over my #1 lol Hahaha we really do remain neck-and-neck don't we! I may have never said this before, but I am actually quite a big Waylon Jennings fan and "Rose In Paradise" is a song of his that I've always loved. This wasn't my initial top ranking song for this album (that was between "Do Ya" and the title track), but as I revisited the song more I kept moving it up my list. I have to say that Pam and Lorrie did a really good job with their version! This also gives me an itch to include Waylon in one of my future icons of country rankdowns.

"Rose In Paradise" was ALMOST my #1 and when I saw the love for it in others ranks I kinda wish I had ranked it #1 but I do really love the title track a lot. I do think these two were the highlight of the album and am happy they were the top 2! As for Waylon Jennings, I would absolutely love to do an Icons rankdown of him because he's one of those artist that I am not at all familiar with his music and I really should be (same with Conway Twitty honestly). Most of the larger names I am familiar with but for whatever reason those two just never got on my radar, like I know the names and I know I've heard some songs but overall I'm not all that familiar!

I do think these two were the highlight of the album and am happy they were the top 2! Yea, initially I went into this album with the title track as my #1 and then was feeling a bit of K.T. nostalgia so I ended up bumping "Do Ya" into that spot. But, the more I listened to "Rose In Paradise" I realized that this really was the standout track of the album overall. For whatever reason, I gravitated towards some of Waylon's songs at a very early age. My earliest recollection of discovering his music was when he performed on the CMA Awards in 1994 and around about the same time I remember seeing his music video for "Wild Ones" on CMT quite a bit. It was those two moments that captured my attention as a young boy and slowly overtime I've been introduced to more and more of his music. I'm not quite sure which artist I'll be doing after Patsy Cline, but after doing two female Icons I might just consider Waylon!

I wonder how many participants' love for "Rose In Paradise" actually comes from Chris Young/Willie Nelson's version. I can guarantee it was at least 40% of us

Regarding Looking For A Feeling: I sincerely hope that nobody is planning to tank "Dolly 1969" just because of the talk-singing in the verses. That chorus is a HUGE jam, perfect in every way, and is probably never going to leave my head again!

I could understand preferring Waylon's version...But to not even know about the existence of the more recent one??! I thought you old people loved Willie Nelson ;)

Of course! I've never had occasion to check out the original, but I knew it existed. Well, it's a gem. And on that note, Waylon Jennings is such an underrated and undiscovered artist on Pulse.

Waylon's is a classic, adore it! Chris did a good job with it as well, wish he'd go more in that direction in the future. I'll have a list in for "Looking For A Feeling" tomorrow if it's not too late :)
