I want some songs from mega pop stars and musicians alike about the struggles of fame and the media not leaving them alone, most popular artists have one song about it. I'll start with the most obvious one.

Britney Spears - Lucky Gaga probably has some. I donβt know if Taylorβs βBlank Spaceβ counts as one.

I've always been amused by artists with songs about the struggle of fame when they aren't famous yet.

Lmao. I was hesitant to suggest that song. But Iβm not sure if it fully fits the criticism, since itβs mostly framed around never changing in the industry vs the industry/media hounding her, so it doesnβt really matter that she wasnβt really famous at that point.

These songs you mentioned by a Maggie Rogers. I mean, if your definition of famous is known around the world or a household name in every house in America sure, limit yourself to that. But oneβs life can be hugely impacted by even a βsmallβ amount of fame. Maggieβs songs are about how her life was changed after her first song went viral. For someone who went from being unknown to have that happen to her, itβs a big enough deal. To go from playing local bars to being able to plan actual tours in other countries. I swear some of yaβll really need to check your extremely limited perspectives on musicians.

The Lindsay Lohan classic "Rumors." I was going to say that. In addition, one of the top selling albums ever was Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours." The Corrs made an album "Talk On Corners," and the lyrics make it sound like it refers to rumors. If you want to name the song that says "rumor" the most times, it's Adele's "Rumor Has It." For Sara Bareilles's "Love Song," there's a difference between singing about the struggles of fame and the media and singing about things in the music business that apply to musicians whether they're famous or not. Pink covers both the media and the industry (L.A. Reid) in "Don't Let Me Get Me." One of my favorite songs is Jessica Andrews's "Who I Am" when she sings that she doesn't need fame. It was her only big hit on Country radio from the album "Who I Am" released on February 27, 2001.
