Does When The Party's Over have any traction? I'm worried that it's likely just gonna continue falling as the hype fades, I'd love it if it could maybe get some sort of foothold in the 30's and 40's for awhile

I'm worried that it's likely just gonna continue falling as the hype fades, I'd love it if it could maybe get some sort of foothold in the 30's and 40's for awhile It’s been holding steady on streaming and it’s airplay keeps on rising everyday. That doesn’t mean it’ll stick around for awhile but I’m hoping it does as it’s one of my favorites from the album.

I really hope we get a shakeup in the top 10 soon. Without Me and Happier need to get tf out. The only reason those two songs are still around is because radio just plays the same tracks and refuses to update faster. Both Happier and Without Me are still high in streaming and sales too. Happier #16 streaming #36 sales #13 airplay Without Me #12 streaming #20 sales #2 airplay Thanks for this as I've been thinking it couldn't be just airplay keeping them afloat especially since the audience numbers are not that high. Radio is so easy to blame sometimes, streaming also has a lot of songs with such longevity as well.

^For what it's worth, even for those songs that streaming doesn't rank that highly, it is still for both songs, the component that's worth the most weekly points according to fhas. Streaming has continued to grow, while digital sales have shriveled and radio airplay audiences have shrunk. Even with Billboard's regular Hot 100 formula adjustments, streaming still is the strongest components for most songs charting.

Billy Ray Cyrus' 'Achy Breaky Heart' Surges in Streams & Sales After 'Old Town Road' Remix Release
4/17/2019 by Xander Zellner
The song hit No. 4 on the Hot 100 in 1992.
Twenty-seven years after it climbed to No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning Billy Ray Cyrus his first charting single, "Achy Breaky Heart" posted big gains in streaming and sales after he joined for the remix of Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road," which was released April 5 and leads the Hot 100 this week.
"Heart" increased by 181% in on-demand streams (audio and video combined) in the U.S. in the week ending April 11, according to Nielsen Music. Its total nearly tripled, from 280,000 to 787,000 week-over-week.
The song's on-demand video streams gained even more drastically, from 112,000 to 352,000 (up 215%). On-demand audio streams jumped from 168,000 to 435,000 (up 159%).
Meanwhile, download sales for "Heart" soared by 92% to under 1,000 in the same span.
Now that Cyrus is featured on "Road" (whose remix with him accounts for the majority of its streams and sales for the week), he earns his first Hot 100 No. 1. He makes his first appearance on any Billboard songs chart since being featured on Buck 22's "Achy Breaky 2," a reworking of Cyrus' breakthrough hit, in 2014. The track reached No. 11 on Hot Rap Songs and No. 80 on the Hot 100.
The original "Heart" became Cyrus' first Billboard chart entry. Along with its No. 4 Hot 100 peak, it spent five weeks at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs, laying the groundwork for 30 additional entries for Cyrus on the latter list, including six more top 10s.

And I see Lil Nas X just pissing off TS's team when he drops the video for OTR the same day as she drops her new stuff. Not good timing for Taylor. Her team should most definitely move the release date to mid-May or after summer because I'm sure Drake will be releasing new music and she won't be able to beat any of his solo songs. She already has a countdown going. The consequences of cancelling that countdown are greater than the consequences of debuting at "only" #2. I think it's certainly possible that Lil Nas X will try to block Taylor for the clout, but she's still going to have a very strong debut. Her fanbase is still very strong, and that's what has always helped her get strong debuts. Her lead single first week sales have always been some of the biggest sales weeks of the year, and even if she doesn't quite match LWYMMD's Youtube views, most hit rap songs' videos don't come close to the Youtube debuts of artists with big loyal fanbases like Ariana, Taylor and the k-pop acts. Apple Music reported that Taylor was the 2nd most streamed female ever on their platform a few months ago, after Ariana, and along with Ariana is still only artist that was in the top 5 most streamed females in both 2017 and 2018 on Spotify (Rihanna was #1 in 2017 and #6 in 2018, so she's very big there too considering her latest release was in 2016). Radio was a bit turned off from her with the first three singles from reputation, but it seems like they're back on board based of Delicate's performance, and they've given her huge radio debuts for her past three singles. Her lead will likely be more friendly to AC/HAC radio too, which should give it an advantage over LWYMMD. It's a little hard to say how the size of her fanbase has changed since 2017, how the GP's interest has changed since then, and how much her fans have shifted from sales to streams for their music, but I definitely expect her to debut with at least 500 points on Simon Falk's chart. And I'd be surprised if OTR had more than 800 - he already has videos and remixes and it might help him a bit if he releases more of those, but I doubt he'll be able to generate that much additional hype with them that it'll give him some huge boost.

I think OTR is only going to finish with 500, if that points this week. Hype has really went down. TayTay will probs debut #1 if she has a strong radio deal, and it is a stream-friendly song.

As we have 24 and a half pages of Taylor Swift discussion for this chart week. I am going to go out on a limb and predict where Taylor Swift will chart for this chart week, assuming the big announcement on 4/26 is even a new single. ---- Old Town Road will probably be in its 3rd week at #1 and Taylor Swift won't chart at all

Even when Without Me was #1 on radio and #8-10 on streaming, it had more streaming points than radio points. However, the Hot 100 isn't as streaming driven as it was before the formula adjustment in June. The reason we usually blame radio is because these songs have a high rank on the radio songs chart when they're declining in sales and streams. Look at Eastside, that song peaked on US Spotify in September/October and it's still top five on radio.

Old Town Road 907 Sunflower + 7 rings + Middle Child + Shallow = 907
