I don't understand why people want Taylor to mess up her whole rollout just to debut at #1... does it really matter if she's #2 and not 1? lmao she'll have other singles for this album and has had plenty of #1s in the past, she will survive.

Dancing With a Stranger and Sweet But Psycho are climbing at a very lucky time; there’s literally no other rising competition in their range that either of them really need to compete against to move up.
Exciting because those are the two songs I’ve been rooting for the most these past few months. All the songs around them are making it very easy for those two to ascend.

Boy with Luv finally fell from #1 in YT worldwide views over the last 24 hours and has almost as many views over that period as Kill This Love.
Also, I see a new video for Clout by Offset featuring Cardi B and you should see me in a crown got an official video.
That Billie video has been out on Apple Music for like a month now, so idk how well it can do. The song is old too, anyway, so she should really focus on "bad guy" rn to establish herself as a force. Otherwise her performance will be super front loaded like BTS whoops |

Post's last three videos have been of his tour or of him in the studio, if he could get off his ass and do a real video again then he'll get another #1 single. Plus he waited a long time to really push the song, by then the damage was done, Old Town Road had already begun its rise. |

She already has a countdown going. The consequences of cancelling that countdown are greater than the consequences of debuting at "only" #2. I think it's certainly possible that Lil Nas X will try to block Taylor for the clout, but she's still going to have a very strong debut. Her fanbase is still very strong, and that's what has always helped her get strong debuts. Her lead single first week sales have always been some of the biggest sales weeks of the year, and even if she doesn't quite match LWYMMD's Youtube views, most hit rap songs' videos don't come close to the Youtube debuts of artists with big loyal fanbases like Ariana, Taylor and the k-pop acts. Apple Music reported that Taylor was the 2nd most streamed female ever on their platform a few months ago, after Ariana, and along with Ariana is still only artist that was in the top 5 most streamed females in both 2017 and 2018 on Spotify (Rihanna was #1 in 2017 and #6 in 2018, so she's very big there too considering her latest release was in 2016). Radio was a bit turned off from her with the first three singles from reputation, but it seems like they're back on board based of Delicate's performance, and they've given her huge radio debuts for her past three singles. Her lead will likely be more friendly to AC/HAC radio too, which should give it an advantage over LWYMMD. It's a little hard to say how the size of her fanbase has changed since 2017, how the GP's interest has changed since then, and how much her fans have shifted from sales to streams for their music, but I definitely expect her to debut with at least 500 points on Simon Falk's chart. And I'd be surprised if OTR had more than 800 - he already has videos and remixes and it might help him a bit if he releases more of those, but I doubt he'll be able to generate that much additional hype with them that it'll give him some huge boost. I think OTR is only going to finish with 500, if that points this week. Hype has really went down. TayTay will probs debut #1 if she has a strong radio deal, and it is a stream-friendly song. First of all, we've seen the prediction is well above 500. Also, if you look at the metrics at all, it's clear the song has not lost momentum. It's still way in front in sales, and its Spotify streams have been pretty stable. What made you think it was going to fall so much from last week? |

It’s hard to tell if earth is going to perform well or not. It could go either way in my opinion.
One the one hand, he enlisted multiple artists and celebrities to feature in this song, which could help this song potentially blow up
On the other hand, this song doesn’t have any replay value so even if it does have a good debut, it’s overall performance is going to be very front loaded
