Halo and If I Were A Boy are the ONLY two songs I check for from the I Am side. That's it.

B'Day is easily her worst album.

B'day and 4 are her best albums. IASF is her worst. Most of the tracks on the I Am side are incredibly dull and forgettable. The Sasha Fierce side HUGELY makes up for that.

Dangerously In Love is her f**king worst. It’s 4 smash singles (3 of which are are the first 3 songs) and then interchangeable filler/elevator music R&B.
B’Day has character and an edge. Albeit, polarizing at times…but it’s aged insanely well amongst all her albums. B’Day is a fine wine.

The Sasha Fierce side HUGELY makes up for that. yessss the 4 love we love to see it! I honestly don’t know how to pick a best album from her. all I know is IASF is inferior to the rest of her catalog. doesn’t mean it’s a bad album it’s just not skipless, timeless like the rest. some days I wanna say Lemonade is her best yet, because i’ve watched that film a million times and it’s just such a powerful body of work. other days i’m a self-titled whore. then I remember how much I love everything on 4. (“love on top” is her best song don’t argue with me argue with a wall.) and b’day and DIL both have a special, nostalgic place in my heart. I even listen to songs off of Everything is Love and Lion King: The Gift on the regular. IASF is truly the one project of hers I rarely return to, for Ego and Diva whenever the mood strikes.

Had not heard much about her lately. Is she working on any project? Is she planning a new album? Let me see what I can summarize from things and rumors that I could remember: - She definitely teased "new music is coming" in her Harper's Bazaar interview and the little Destiny's Child conversation that Michelle posted last year. - In her Harper's Bazaar interview and some of her random posts on her website she's been using the word "joy" repeatedly, and in the interview she emphasized that she felt a 'renaissance' was coming where people are ready to have fun again, to party, to travel, etc. - There was news of her being on The Isley Brother's new album, however the album hasn't been released since then. - Around the same time there were also rumors of her appearing on the Silk Sonic album on a song called "Sweet Thing". The song was added to the 'unofficial' tracklist of the album on Genius alongside some other tracks. All of the tracks turned out to be correct except for that one. - An Afrobeat producer KKDO revealed that he worked on a track with her after she did The Gift. - Last December/November she was reported looking for material & colors for her vinyl. The vinyl producer referenced her to the Gold-Diggers Sound album by Leon Bridges which she loved. - Around the same time there were some rumors from vinyl factories that hers were currently in production and the design was apparently "very colorful". Although just in general apparently there's a vinyl shortage at the moment, so it might take longer than usual to produce an album. - Ryan Tedder reposted one of her IG photo to his Stories with the 'shhh' emoji. - A reporter who broke the news about her involvement in King Richard revealed a few weeks ago that the House producer Honey Dijon is involved in 2 songs on the album, one of them has a music video. - An 'insider' on Twitter said that Summer Walker is on the album and I remember they used the 'unicorn' emoji after mentioning B's name. The account was deactivated just a few days later. I think that's about it. It's gonna be her first era where we have 0 leaks/info about the music videos.

Looking at the production times for vinyl right now, and her seemingly wanting to prioritise this type of distribution, maybe an early 2023 release is becoming more and more plausible. Then there’s touring, which of course is always a main factor for her and I’m sure if we don’t get an announcement this month, a summer tour ain‘t happening. On the other hand HDD reported a few months back that Harry and Bey were scheduled to release close to each other (March was rumored iirc). Ughh, can‘t she just give us a little SOMETHING?

It's hilarious that even Twitter is now agreeing she needs to move on from the trap music and message-themed songs, and be more lighthearted.
I can't help but feel if she comes back with another Lemonade or EIL that it'll really not resonate with people aside from the initial pandering due to her name.

I do think she'll surprise all of us with her next album. I expect a lot of joyful and uptempo music.

I mean "Love On Top" is pretty joyful and iconic and to paraphrase Kelly's 10th Fan (I think), it would've been a Clive Davis certified smash at a different point in time. So even something with that kind of vibe would be nice. I also love "Standing on the Sun" even if it was only for an H&M commercial.

Love On Top is joyful but it was like 4 albums ago depending on which projects you count.

Before I Let Go was also very lighthearted. People act like we only got trap bangers and rap-infused songs from her lately. Whatever she comes up with, I’m super excited for it, even if it’s another Jay assisted song. She earned my trust from her last decade in the industry alone.

Question: is the Lemonade film still available anywhere online? I couldn't find it on Amazon where I bought the album in 2016 and it's not on HBO Max or YouTube either.

She can drop whatever she likes as long as she leaves her husband at home! Question: is the Lemonade film still available anywhere online? I couldn't find it on Amazon where I bought the album in 2016 and it's not on HBO Max or YouTube either. Tidal only. 🙃

Had not heard much about her lately. Is she working on any project? Is she planning a new album? I wonder if pop radio would still open their doors for her. Of course she’s trascended all that and I don’t even know if she cares for another easy pop hit. Still I’m curious if they have a target for the next project or just artistry. I mean, she’s the generation of Xtina, Britney and P!nk and P!nk it seems to me for some time has been the only one getting pop radio attention. It stopped after Just Like Fire, her further singles have struggled beyond belief. What About Us was her first where pop radio didn’t support her. I think if Beyoncé released something Pop would want to ply, they’d play it. Maybe not all the way to top 10 but possible I’d good enough. Xtina had an interesting career after Bionic so I’m not surprised on the lack of radio support, as for Britney I’d say the supported her a lot, except for the last album or two. But I’m not surprised honestly.

I'm not sure. The Pop format hasn't played Bey all the way into the top 10 since Telephone and Sweet Dreams, aside from Savage. It could happen but it'd need to be some undeniable smash hit song that they couldn't refuse.

I’d argue after that is when pop really cut her off with beautiful trauma and walk me home being her only other hits on the format after that but only made the top 25

I agree although "Before I Let Go" was just a cute little cover that managed to gain limited tractions on Urban radio - so a lot of people might not know it. When people say "Beyonce's last projects", they're probably thinking of either "Apeshit" or Black is King.

I only care about her solo projects and that personal glimpse into her life/thoughts/being/stage of life.

I know her tour production is costly but I do hope she tours beyond the US & Europe for the next era.
South America, Africa & Asia kept showing her so much love despite having abandoned by her for a while now. Australia/NZ too!

Beyonce is by far the one artist I have no clue how their next album will fare in charts/sales....
It really could go either way. She could officially be at that transition phase where her numbers take a huge hit, she could easily smash and get all the attention once again.
I think she is pretty aware that the side-projects and some of these stand-alone songs performing the way they did means she does need to come with a solid hit or two. The one thing with her is that the general public and media will still treat her like she's in her prime, unlike other stars so it's not really like she has to fight any narratives. She literally just has to put out some good undeniable hits, that's it.
